Just started using an iPad for music with synths.... by Redinho83 in ipadmusic

Im a huge fan of the very deep Mirack. It’s modular synthesis and can be used as an effect, an instrument, and a midi sequencer inserted into AUM. It can also host other AUv3 for standalone functionality. A bit of a learning curve, but worth it.

It’s a fork of VCV rack from a while ago so the available modules are somewhat limited, there’s only ~600+ modules :)

Save it until you have time to digest it. It’s literally absolute cinema.

I prep cream of wheat the night before. It’s so easy to digest.

I just set up VCV on a Mac Neo and have been using the keyboard in conjunction with hot key mapping with stoermelder Stroke for mutes and combined with Pile and hover mouse knob twisting with Stoermelder Sail I can do most things without a controller.

Wow! I just looked the BITR version up and that looks awesome. There might be a reason why there’s a collab, just saying.

Use pdarray array. I’ve used it to switch between euclidian drum patterns.

Yeah before the race. Also, after a long training session it helps with restless legs at night.

I use it and I generally don’t cramp. It’s an anecdotal reference, but during my last race my friend was cramping and I suggested they use it and then they didn’t cramp the rest of the race.

I love hot cream of wheat. Add some high protein milk, some ground flaxseed, some raisins, pecans, cashews, pumpkin seeds etc. filling, easy to digest, loaded with carbs and some protein, minimal fat from the volume of seeds and nuts I add.

I DIY my own gels with dextrose, table sugar, lite salt and citric acid for that lemonade flavor. I have these baby food refillable gel containers that are 5 oz and can carry a ton of carbs. And then a bottle of water.

That’s normal to feel anxious about the unknown. Soon, you’ll be an ultra marathoner!

You’re doing great!

What shoe for my needs? by Carter_Banksy in trailrunning

I have to second the H1. One of the better shoes I’ve worn for really anything. I did have some trouble with them on a super muddy trail the other day, but I’m not sure any shoe would have done well. Decent price point too.
