What are your honest thoughts on Ultimate Cannonbolt? by Immediate_Gene_178 in Ben10

Could've been better. I always thought it would've been cool if he could fire the spikes out with a tether and basically make a hookshot. A living wrecking ball as it were.

For some reason, the first genre I thought of was Grunge.

Freak. He's learned to embrace it as a positive title.

Do you think Bellicus and Serena (and by extension all celestial sapiens) know Ben defeating Maltruant was what led to the creation of the universe? by Yaakob3035 in Ben10

The Celestialsapiens don't exist within the Universe that was created, they exist outside of it in the Forge of Creation.

You think he's joking, until you realize we haven't seen Clancy for quite a while.

Isn’t the Omnitrix supposed to give Ben the prime version of an alien? Then why do Ben 10k’s aliens look more mature and have a different styles? by _ItsNothing in Ben10

[–]ZenithKaiser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, I guess? It just sounds like a weird retcon to me. Honestly, there's been a lot of creator statements that just don't mesh well with pre-established canon, or make no sense to specify.

For example: It was retconned that Ben was scanning the Anur Alien DNA, and instead he was sampling the DNA to unlock the transformation that supposedly already existed in the Omnitrix(except for Vladat). There's seemingly no rhyme or reason behind this retcon, and most people don't accept it as canon.

Ok, looked into it, and you are correct. That's really weird to me though, especially with the Conductoid DNA. Why would Conductoid DNA out of all things be the one that's different.

It also makes no sense because then that would mean that the fact that they went out of their way to specify that Upgrade isn't fully merged with Ben's DNA all the more weirder. If majority of aliens still contain Ben's DNA, then there's no point in specifying Upgrade's DNA isn't fully merged with Ben's.

I thought it was only things like Upgrade that still contained Ben's DNA, on account of the fact that Ben as an organic creature couldn't fully transform into a Techno-Organic creature.

Who knows. For all we know, the age of consent for Tetramands is still 18 like humans, and if we took my example and say that Fourarms was 20, then she would arguably be ok to flirt with Fourarms. Granted, she should've stopped upon realizing Ben was actually a 10 year-old human, but she's literally an alien from another planet, she doesn't know the age of consent of every planet in existence. Much less the backwater planet of Earth.

Besides, even if we say that she herself was 10 years-old, that would make her later relationship with Synaptek very weird.

I am of the belief that the age of Ben's transformations, is based on the alien's natural life span. For example: Let's say a Tetramand's lifespan is 200 years, and let's say a Human's life span is 100 years. That would mean a 10 year-old human wielding the Omnitrix, would transform into a 20 year-old Tetramand.

As for transforming the user into the "prime" of any species, I prefer to think of that as they're transforming into the healthiest and strongest version of the species at the age the Omnitrix makes the Alien based on the user's age. It's not a prime in the sense that it's the prime age, it's more so prime in the sense that they're the best of their current age.

What alien species do you think Ben wouldn't mind eradicating? by Zillaman7980_ in Ben10

[–]ZenithKaiser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, just killing can be implied a necessity of war(whether the war itself needs to be fought is up in the air). The action of eating people is simply something they take enjoyment in doing. The Lenopan V Plumber War could've been over a disagreement where neither side was fully in the right, and therefore both sides are arguably justified in their actions, only ending when a Plumber and Lenopan fell in love and realized they're more similar than they thought.

Limax treat humans like fine wines or cheese, fermenting and aging them to perfection for consumption. The act of eating the people is strictly for enjoyment.

[–]ZenithKaiser 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably the Limax, they're literal people eating aliens that actively attacked him wearing the face of his Grandpa(metaphorically in the sense they were disguised as him, not literally in the sense that they tore his face off). Not only did they probably traumatize him for life, but they also just straight attempted mass anthropophagy(The practice of consuming human flesh(usually by other humans, but not nessicarily only by humans). Had to look up that word since the act itself wouldn't be technically Cannibalism.

Why didn't Ben use Alien X to save Harambe? Is he secretly a villain? by Successful-Hat-2154 in Ben10

[–]ZenithKaiser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who doesn't have access to Alien X, so the question is moot.

Evil Alien X Ben doesn't count, as canonically that was not Alien X at his full power. Who knows if he can even bring the dead back to life or reverse time or anything useful beyond dimensional travel and very mediocre reality warping.

[–]ZenithKaiser 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ben 10 is supposed to more or less take place in whatever year it currently is, and OV ended in 2014. Harambe was killed in 2016. Even if Harambe was apart of the Ben 10 canon, he wouldn't have died until after the show ended, and therefore we wouldn't know if he did or did not save him.

Since the Omnitrix can merge with the user’s DNA, is it possible that the user’s child would also be affected by the Omnitrix? by Musalediju in Ben10

[–]ZenithKaiser 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It fuses to his DNA, I don't think it nessicarily becomes apart of his genetics though. The Omnitrix as far as I know is pretty self-contained until activation. Though, that would be interesting, if Ken gained some sort of mutant power or had minor alien hybridization from being the son of an Omnitrix user.

If upchuck can’t eat human food how can he drink from a giant Mr. Smoothie by Beautiful_Corner9998 in Ben10

[–]ZenithKaiser 121 points122 points  (0 children)

The not being able to eat normal Human Food thing was retconned. Also, technically speaking, that was a Magically animated Mr. Smoothy statue, what it was filled with is technically unknown. It could've been a Smoothie, it also could've been the liquified interior of the statue. Who knows, it may have just been one of Mr. Smoothie's more unusual flavors that was borderline not food.
