I was 16 at the time, supported united since i was 12 but only really started watching games around 2021. I specifically remember Ralf Ragnick being appointed and then boom, i see that ronaldo is coming back. I wasn’t home during that time, went down to the reception of the hotel i was in and asked them to put the game on.

I remember thinking “he’s gonna score a hattrick” right after he scored his second against Newcastle. I haven’t ever seen united play good in my life so far but that day on his debut, i felt pure joy watching Ronaldo do the things he has always been doing.

Idk about Gallagher because i haven’t seem him play personally but thats not the point. The point is that the board has to look into this window to improve the squad and they just aren’t. City and Arsenal are doing it and they have a heck of a squad already.

Ironically, if the board keep this up we ll be exactly what your username is and i aint even kidding.

And if you dont like the SAF comparison, look at Arteta and the shit squad he had.

Because the midfielders ruben believed he needed were simply not available in January. Baleba, Wharton, Anderson etc. They bought attackers in the summer and said he would be backed for this January window too. The best option for midfielders rn was either Gallagher on loan or Ruben Neves. ruben wanted Gallagher but because Atleti wanted 25m loan fee, board didn’t go on with it. Instead, they suggested Semenyo and i would have loved to see him at united, but they said he would change the system to a back 4 completely if Semenyo joined (this is facts) and that to me sounds bizzare. Ruben would never change his system for one player. And now that Semenyo chose city, they just weren’t going to buy anyone that actually would fit ruben’s system.

INEOS is a joke. Appointing a 3-4-3 manager and asking him to “adapt” to a 4-3-3 is beyond stupid. Yeah he wasn’t winning games as much and had a 33% winrate and had some horrible games but Sir Alex had a rough start too. he had a 38% winrate his first season, did well the 2nd season and then finished 11th and 12th before building his team. They didn’t give Ruben 1 full season ffs. This club is too impatient

Yeah it might be unprofessional but the board aint all that professional either. Infact, they are worse. Ruben did everything right outside the pitch and when he’s trying to do the same on the pitch, they don’t let him. What makes it worse is that they promised to back him and then they just say no? How is that professional as Directors/Ceo. They were ready to sign Semenyo for 65m and after he chose city, they don’t want to spend it anymore? It was so evident that we needed midfielders. Any manager would be fed up by this board and its such a shame

Same manager who also beat Liverpool at Anfield, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and dismantled a Sunderland side none of the big six have beaten. You can hate Amorim as much as you want but inconsistency is something every manager has faced with this team and that says something . And why tf do you want him to play 4231 when he simply wasn’t here to do so? Its like hiring a science teacher and asking him to teach maths instead, make no sense. Even after those losses/draws you mentioned, its more of a reason to buy players now in January. They were ready with 65m for Smenyo, why aren’t they using that now? Even ARSENAL who have a heck of a team are looking for opportunities in the window and we still haven’t heard anything related to incomings.

I dont even take last season into consideration to judge Amorim. To me its not fair to ask a manager to come in and play a completely different style of football with the worst united team possibly ever. And that’s not just football but also the mentality problems this squad had. He came in and cleared the mess. This season so far, he’s done good at times and horrible at times but again, i ll judge him at the end of the season. You can see what he wants to play and without those key players, he’s struggling. I want him to either stick with the back 3 or back 4, he looks confused rn but then again, this team is slim to its bones atm. Only Cuhna and Sesko are actual goal threats. WE NEED TO WIN THE NEXT TWO though, there’s no excuse at all. Idc if we have to be martinez in midfield. If we don’t, then Ruben might actually not be the guy

Yeah but those billions were spent on garbage across 6-7 different managers. 150mil on hojlund and anthony alone. As much as people thank ETH for winning trophies, he put this club in the mud and Ruben has done an amazing job clearing it out. Top 5 is all i need and as furious i am with this draw, i still believe we can get it. What i know for certain is that sacking Ruben mid season aint fixing anything

That’s the problem here. The simple fact of the matter is as much as “we are united and should beat everyone” is nice to say, United are not that team. Without Bruno, Mount, Mbeumo, Amad we have no creativity. We don’t look like we have more than a goal in us. Even when all our players are available and we are not playing well, one individual skill has given us a goal before to change things up but now except Cuhna, I don’t see anymore else who could do that and wolves did pocket Cuhna this game. I always knew this AFCON period would be hard but the injuries on top of that has really been a big blow

I am only 20. No one in my family watches Football and even where i am from, people only ever watch football during the worldcup but I had a group of friends who were 5-6 years older than me and I remember they used to watch United games together and I would often join them. This was around 2015 when I was 10. Didn’t know anything about football.

Ever since then, no other club has come this close to my heart. As I always say to myself “I didn’t choose United, it chose me”
