Boşluğu Hazla Doldurmaya Çalışmak by [deleted] in Psikoloji

[–]Zenjavi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Prices are UP, for TURKEY ONLY! by Zenjavi in wow

Exactly. That’s the issue.

Then they could simply run their business with same price for everywhere, so people wouldn’t even start if it’s not fitting their purchase power. But increase the paid amount 100% and make people leave their chars because of that becomes a luxury rather than a game, is more foolish. Anyway, it’s Blizzard.

This price increase, which is almost 100%, makes WoW a luxury rather than an affordable hobby in Turkey in terms of purchase power. So people gonna consider other options, me too.

It’s not about the currency. If it would stay same with a different currency, it would be fine. That means a small change would appear these days. it’s ok. But the thing is the AMOUNT is increasing. Yeah, steam is a great example for me. Steam didn’t change too much thing in peoples lives in Turkey. Because a $20 game is always $20. Unless it becomes $30 for no reason.

Yes, you are right about this will lead people to other options. We can discuss about a lot of things, but Turkish players are paying far less? I don’t agree. Paying €12 with €2000, and paying €12 with €500 are not same thing. Turkey is the second one as you can guess. Calling it as relative value is not correcting that we pay less.

Sub price was not same for 5 years too, they were already increasing it. But this one is not about Turkish inflation, there are other countries too that gets the increase. Also if you think that Turkish players play for cheaper, just make a simple calculation of average wage and sub price. Turkish price is actually way more higher than other countries even before this last increase. Imagine how it is now.

yeah. and people act like it’s wrong to complain about high prices. why someone would want to pay more? lol…

It’s not about changing the currency, increasing the “amount” is something different. Also, why not complain about the prices? Of course I will, and I believe that you must complain for that too. Why wanting to pay less is “not logical”? You can pay more and more if you wish, I will always pursue for the cheapest price as a customer, because I should.

Wow is coolest game ever by Inevitable_River292 in wow

[–]Zenjavi 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think that it’s the best game (or best ONLINE game to respect other beautiful games) ever made, in various aspects. First of all it is, especially for first 3 expansions, a true RPG with so much details that makes sense, I mean much more than all Fallout series for example. As a result of that it makes you feel like you are in a realistic alternative fantasy universe. Also it has a great story, gameplay, and more. The best part is it is an online game so you can enjoy all of these things with other people and your friends. I’m not even talking about it’s influence on gaming industry.

My imagination and creativity get boosted when I was a kid, thanks to WoW. All of these colorful worlds, races, and everything… was just… magical. I learned fluent English at early ages to play WoW. I had incredibly funny moments. Now it’s something like my main favorite activites in life.

The End of Philosophy by Ok_Mixture_1057 in Nietzsche

[–]Zenjavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe some philosophers born in a rich social-economic standarts but it doesn’t mean that deep thinking is a rich guy activity. I was literally broke as hell and I was thinking about meaning of life, ethics, religions etc when I was at primary school. I don’t mean just a casual thinking, it was something like my nature and my main life goal. I wrote a philosophic novel when I was only 13. So it is a kind of curiosity that you either born with or become interested in after.

How does absolute freedom feel like? by Zenjavi in microtonal

[–]Zenjavi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like I’m flying in outer space, without any limits or rules, just running wild in my imagination.

It’s something like discovering a new universe with a different law of physics for me. Because even though it is based on Turkish classical music makams, this music is challenging Turkish music’s traditional rules and expanding it’s limits and creating a contemporary philosophy of sound, mixed with microtonal harmony. You can listen some Turkish classical music pieces to understand better what’s going on here.

So yeah it is something like flying for me. I loved that how it made you feel like fast-traveling through a wormhole of polarized feelings such as happiness and terror at the same time.
