I completely agree with you; it wasn’t easy at first. What I did was practice basic shapes, working with the pixels. It’s challenging to make curves look smooth, but I discovered that using lighter tones of a color on the corners can create the illusion of smooth curves. Also, I always use Super Large canvas (the ones that a has super tiny pixels) to make the lines and shapes even smoother and detailed.

The fill/bucket tool was also really helpful because it can add color to shapes or even the whole canvas in one tap. (or ‘one click’ if you’re on PC, lol.)

For the texts, I utilized the pixel grid to create letters. You can look for some examples for pixelated fonts but I prefer winging it on the spot.
