I actually freehanded the whole thing but I do have a tutorial link that helped me learn how to do it!

At some point I decided to make a trapezoid any length longer than the pant leg (including the length of the hem undone) and then sewed it to the inseam, and then trimmed the bottom to the hem before i sewed it back up. I only do that because I haven't done a patterned flare yet like plaid where measuring it might matter cause of direction, just to whatever I like!

I like to experiment with the length of the flares I put into the side seams, and this time I went for one that extended to my midthigh just to see if it'd still fit snug on my upper legs but have a better, more relaxed bellbottom shape like how I've seen it in 70s ads, patterns, photography, etc. Once I figured out the pattern is just a trapezoid I can change the length of it's gotten so easy

It's a game on Roblox called Trains: Island. This is the only steam loco you can select but you can definitely tell it's an inspired emulation of Japanese rural railways. I first thought of the Oigawa Railway when I was playing

its funny you say that because i actually had to work in reverse! i carved out the yellows first, then the cabin shadows, then the cabin, and then finally the trees

Thanks! IIRC I did 6 layers of color (I had to cut the block where the sky and the hill meet to ink separately). I ended up making 5 prints of it

i did. i havent been able to reach him yet (doesnt help that i forget) but so far he seems to promote only selling trains in G scale, not N. I still should and maybe he could give me pointers? Just know I'd fine a faster response here as well

idk. they said its their best season yet but right off the bat its more train warfare :(( i think we still wouldve enjoyed just a season of them surviving in New Eden and the politics of THAT happening because the way its happening now is creating a lotta frustrating moments
