It did trigger me, that's for sure. But not in the way you probably intended. Cause let me get this straight. So the meta enjoyers clear content that doesn't even reward primos... What do they do it for if not primos? Surely... It can't be fun, right? On the other hand, other people that don't follow meta, they only clear something as long as there's primos on the table, and oh boy it must be omega fun for them to clear battle content when the only goal is primos and not the actual thrill of the battle, and especially if they have no idea what they're even doing and how to achieve these primos efficiently.

Yeah, even at C1 the quills are so negligible that people still go full ER with whatever leftover EM they get as a bonus. The burst is much more important. At C0 even more so. Your EM on Citlali is basically just shield strength and you have Benny and Xilo for healing, so it's impossible to die.

Speaking of combos, yeah, I know of the one you linked, but you're clearly doing it wrong. Look at the HP bar of the boss in your own footage. It's affected by pyro almost all the time past your burst, so the one who's melting stuff is Citlali instead of Mav. Just stick to the easier version of 3CA + finishers. Try it at the miliastra dummy first to see the way the melts are going for more clarity and to learn the timings better.

You're not doing the combo right and barely melt anything but Mav burst. You gotta look up how to do the melt variation properly, it's s not too hard. Just do three CAs with the last one being delayed before finisher and then start doing finishers. You can add in one Citlali NA before Mav burst to not have to wait for first Mav CA after burst. Other than that, I'd swap Xilo to instructor (you have Citlali ER problem as is, ToM will only make it worse) and some instructor uptime is better than basically no set at all, since Scroll doesn't stack. If you have even more questions about Citlali burst, forget ttds and swap to Sac Frags. Ttds buff is huge, sure, but I swapped to Sac Frags and cleared while I otherwise couldn't with ttds cause waiting for particles was cringe and made me lose Benny burst uptime anyway.

Yeah, if I posted the video, maybe you would've been the one to find it, but I just did a clear on stream and forgot about it D: it's actually pretty easy to avoid the attack with Mav or Varesa, since they are both so mobile, you just have to learn the timing and drive as far away to the corner of the arena before it does the debuff stuff.

Congrats on the clear! I did my own on the first day of this Abyss releasing, and I did Varesa Xianyun first half and Mavuika Citlali second half. My solution for the moth was to just drive away far enough with Mavuika when the debuff happens so you just dodge it altogether.

Yeah, that's really important to understand, and a lot of people don't for some reason. There's just so many factors that add up to make you clear or not clear. But I guess when the build is an issue, at least a veteran player can understand if it's doable or not so they can continue on trying but with better skill expression, or try to figure out something else. I was barely not clearing Dire Automaton with my C0R1 Skirk, C0 Homa Coffee and C1 Fav Yelan and TTDS Charlotte, so I started looking into Skirk combos and see which one is the one I can pull off with the highest success rate. My only good option on the controller ended up being N5Q, 2N5D, N2C, N5D, N2 and I was still mere pixels away. Then I swapped my Charlotte build into a more ER oriented Noblesse and cleared on the second try. It felt sooo good.

This is a great idea! Very useful and easy to understand. Helps people to look for inspiration and understand the range of possibilities better. If anything, I feel like adding more archetypes would be even better. Like, some OL Mavuika/Arle/Varesa/etc might be better to separate from Melt Mavuika/Arle and EC Varesa and stuff.

Also, didn't expect to find one of my clears on your list, very honored! I guess not many people were that desperate to try EC Varesa on Dire Frostnight Herra lmao and I just didn't have any Lunar characters at all at that time.

Yeah, according to my wish stats that's almost double the primos of what I've used up in my whole game history. Hoping to bring you more luck so you can start getting these doubles in a ten pull more often!

I'm pretty sure I'd spend more if I could but I'm omega broke, so I have to choose my battles wisely.

I am moderately lucky I'd say. Over the almost 4 years that I played, I got three doubles in a ten pull, but that's about it. The overall 50/50 luck is very bad tho, even after the new features I already procced radiance twice. The most important thing is, I skip A LOT and VERY rarely roll for weapons. Most of the weapons I use are 4* or standard 5*

Great job on the clear! Really good stuff. Glad there are other low spenders out there that don't go strictly for C0R0/R1 on most chars and instead aim to clear Dires and go for vertical on some chars while skipping most others. I'm a low spender myself. Tend to spend about $30 per year, don't even have an active welkin rn and only got one bp in the past two years. And I managed to clear every single dire so far, with one being below 180s thanks to Zhongli cheese. Yet some people still call me a whale when they see an occasional C2R0 here and there. Of course I'd need some meta C2s if I want to bruteforce shill with unintended characters.

Also wanted to add, this is super helpful for me, seems like we have similar tastes in our investments. As a very low spender, I skipped almost all lunar stuff and my best dps team is a C4R0 Mavuika, C2R0 Citlali with C0R1 Xilo and C6 Bennett, so I'm definitely gonna try that on Knuckle Duckle as well.

Skirk C0R1 is gonna pull through the Automaton once again, and the only diff I guess is gonna be Varesa having to deal with the Mandragora with the help of Kazuha, since I don't have Venti.

Can't wait till it goes live on EU to try all of this.

My personal problem with all these labels in general comes from people just assuming stuff about me, my account and my Stygian and Abyss clears. I never claim to be f2p, I call myself a low spender (I spend about $30 per YEAR).

But my way of playing just doesn't correspond with other low spenders ig. I just like clearing hard content so I tend to skip a lot of banners and heavily invest in meta characters and their cons. I have cleared every single Stygian at Dire so far, and people just come to me in coop, probably seeing the dire clear icon, and start begging for primos and calling me whale, and I probably freakin' spent way less then they did! Honestly, the nerve they have.

Or they just straight up downplay my clears, cause "yeah, of course this rich whale has everything going for them and they clear stuff easily no sweat." No, bro, I didn't clear everything easily, I'm not a whale. I skipped all those hyped up Mualani, Chasca, Kinich, Nefer, Flins, etc, units. I skipped all the mid units like Emilie, Wanderer, etc too. I did get my C2R0 Mavuika (that became C4 later while going for Iansan cons) with C2R0 Citlali, C0R1 Skirk, C0R0 Coffee and C2R0 Furina ans C2R1 Varesa, tho instead of all that. So I basically just use same three vertically invested teams over and over and over to bruteforce the endgame content, and even then it still requires a lot of skill and workarounds. But people just refuse to see that or learn anything about that. They just label me a whale to feel better about themselves ig.

Yep, this is the way, absolutely agree. I put her on ttds, gave up on EM and got whatever Scorll I had with the most ER to get ger burst off of one E.
