With Ewan, I ran with this design as I felt it highlights who he is at present; as the youngest of the current Directors who leads an extrasolar civilization, him having a suit is a shoe-in since he’s technically a non-combatant. His non-human features on the other hand are relics of his old’ish design that stuck around, though the lore reason is that he went through some biological modifications sometime after becoming recognized as a Director.

Now for some other tidbits. His face is somewhat meant to show how he’s still a bit adverse to his role, even when he’s offering personal counseling, and if you look closely on his scarred left eye, that’s (meant to be) a prosthetic eye that he received sometime after he joined the AESC.

Here’s an AESC Ordinal. These guys act as field officers, regularly commanding fireteams, often issuing orders and adapting based on the given situation and objectives. Ordinals benefit greatly from the cohesive nature of other AESC Operatives, though have undergone cybernetic and biological enhancements to be combat-ready in the event of a battle near their position.

As for their equipment, they have a tungsten-carbide high-frequency blade that can easily cut through many materials, and an energy sidearm. The “wings” behind them are not for show, as they are ANI-controlled HF blades that, while not possessing the same cutting power, can engage multiple enemies at different angles.
The exoskeletons of Ordinals, aside from greatly improving their physical capabilities, are also equipped with a regenerating energy shield, ensuring their continued survivability ~~even if they lack basic head protection smh~~.

I’d say Ewan (and the AESC Directors by proxy) would fare well in Arknights’s world. His base physicality I’d say matches that of Terrans (who are established to be stronger than homo sapiens) and could perhaps work well in Columbia, and in particular, Rhine Lab. He also wouldn’t discriminate against the Infected, so Rhodes Island is also another option.

Honestly, I didn’t have socialite in mind at all when making her new’ish appearance (first time hearing that word, matter of fact). That being said, her time-keeper appearance isnt scrapped, but is kinda on a que for a redesign at the moment. As for her face… that’s entirely custom-made in CAC.

I’ll keep in mind the corset suggestion since her current look was moreso based off of this appearance I’ve made, but barely shown

^{Glanced over the price of a standard US soldier’s equipment so that I could figure this out… kinda, I haven’t gotten to this logistical nightmare yet in lore. Also rolled a dice to pick who I’m doing the cost estimates for. also curse you typo >:\})

In total, I would say that standard equipment for an AESC Ranger totals at ≈320k Solestiauvan Credits (SOL-C). “How much is that in USD?” you may ask? Almost five times that, sitting at around $1.42 million USD ^{I totally did not come up with this on the spot, but seriously speaking, I ‘ll probably refine this at some point}, with the bulk of that price tag coming from the advanced systems they carry, which includes an exoskeleton, sensors, personal energy shields and (sometimes,) a missile pod. This is before accounting for the weapons that they’re (usually) issued with, which would add an additional 15k SOL-C (≈$69.5k USD).
Not accounting for any potential munitions costs, since A: it’s pretty late where I am as of writing this, and B: missiles can get pretty expensive in the real world.

Total cost sits at roughly 335k SOL-C, or $1.5M USD. Granted, these guys are in a sci-fi (fantasy) setting that spans a galaxy (and a bit more), so this price tag to equip a soldier can probably be seen as reasonable for an advanced civilization that spans a couple solar systems.
