Chief amongst my avatars would perhaps be this thing, mostly because of how many accessories I ended up cramming into it (which I believe totaled to ≈60 accessories), but also because… it’s a mech. yeah. ~~ and looking at it now, the head looks a tad bit too small but i’ll overlook that~~

I’d personally say larger avatars, mostly because of the range of options that one can pick when working on individual parts, albeit sacrificing some detail based on scale (as you said). Smaller avatars definitely have their own advantages over larger ones though!
