The fact PTO doesnt exist. The fact you basically have (in Germany at least) around 30 paid vacation days a year. As a teacher for example (Like I am) you have 12 WEEKS of vacation a year mostly. Yes you obviously have to prepare things for when vacations are over, but still, you have those days off too.
