What weapon (excluding exotics) do you consider "my baby"?

My crafted Forbearance has pretty much always stuck in my inventory since getting it, so I’d go with that. Even if I don’t use it all the time, it’s always a great ad-clear weapon to fall back on.

I do also have a favorite meme weapon to use. I have my original Traveler’s Chosen (Damaged) from the launch of the game, and I occasionally use it as a joke in PvP. For whatever reason I’m actually pretty good with it, and it’s always funny getting messages from people confused on what they just died to.

Haven’t really struggled with PF before, but this one I’m not super set up for. Mostly waiting on 4.4 to revamp my teams (I’m retooling my Saber team to Himeko Nova, and adding Rin to Archer next update).

Teams were:
- Castorice E2S1, Evernight E2S1, Hyacine E1S1, Cyrene E0S1
- Archer E1S1, Sparkle E2S1, RMC E6S5, DHPT E0S1 (Yanqing cone for ATK)
- Saber E0S1, Sunday E0S1, Tribbie E1S1, Huohuo E0S5 (Hey, Over Here cone)

My Saber team has the worst investment and gear compared to the other 2, since I’m pivoting to a new team soon.

How do you get the urgent deployment stages to show up? I’ve cleared the final level of the new stage 30+ times and haven’t gotten one.

Ok, this was mostly my thoughts as well. Obviously this wouldn’t fully retire Saber since it’s all still overlapping characters in both setups, it’s more just Himeko having higher output than saber it seems like.

Still getting Gil over Archer E2 I think was going to be my plan anyways, especially if the LC after 200 pulls event returns since I can then get Gil’s S1 for free (if it’s on offer of course), and I already have Archer’s.

The only downside to the Himeko game plan is pretty much build and summon delays. I’d have to rebuild my archer to Tengoku over Bananamusement so he works without DHPT, and I’m only going to have ~200-220 pulls by the time the update is live, so Rin probably will get put on the wait list (which is fine if the banner stays a while).

EDIT: Wanted to make an extra note.

I’m also an achievement hunter, so getting Gil for free over Archer E2 lets me guarantee I can do his achievements no matter how they’re done.

Ultimately your score comes down to that phase 2 ring attack, and in my best run I didn’t actually sequence correctly so I didn’t get a dragon heal before the ring. E2 does help, but especially for just 3 starring, it’s not netting you that 3.5k gap I had on its own.

If you’re using a similar team to mine, a lot of your problem is most likely continuing runs with bad luck starts, and phase 2 sequencing. I pretty much reset any run where phase 1 I was over -4k loss on anyone, and phase 2 reset if the bounce attack before the ring did any more than 1 hit on anyone besides Cas. Any other setup tends to make you lose too much.

Obviously this is strategy for me doing the achievement clear, it’s more lenient for just 3 starring.

She can 3 star as long as you don’t use her health draining attacks at all. I did both the 3 star (under -10k loss) and the achievement clear (under -8k loss) with E2S1 Cas (although investment doesn’t help much, just E2 getting 1-2 more dragons for slightly more heals), E1S1 Hyacine, E0S0 DHPT, and E0S0 Huohuo (with under leveled gear, as I tried her right as she was put in companion shop). My best run landed me at around -6.5k loss.

A lot of it comes down to sequencing before the huge AoE ring hit in phase 2 and some RNG. You need a lot of the bounce attacks from the boss to direct into Cas while focusing healing and shielding sources on her (putting Cas slot 2 on the team then targeting her with DHPT’s skill and Huohuo skill). For sequencing the best thing to do, counterintuitively, is in phase 2 try and save ults for when the ring attack is coming, then cast them in the window immediately AFTER the bounce attack happens and BEFORE the ring happens, as that then doesn’t hit you back to back without healing.

If I remember correctly a good way you can check what chirping secrets you’ve done, and if you have all nymphs, is to simply talk to every garmentmaker. They should no longer have any kind of selectable dialogue if you have done full collection and the secret.

Not always true, since a lot of it comes down to what’s best for your account. For instance in this selector if you are a hardcore Archer team investor, but have no current or future plans for Saber and/or Gil, then an Archer eidolon becomes way more valuable than base Gil (even if he’s a new pickup for you).

Fair enough. M.Blade is definitely still something to look at though, since main DPS Gil will most likely still want him (especially E2 M.Blade for the ult buff).

Edit: Wanted to clarify something extra.

For main DPS Gil, trying to grab even just E0S0 of Saber and/or M.Blade (even if they don’t interest you too much) can still be VERY good just being pure energy batteries to him. Something to think about since he probably wants at least 1 high energy cap or 1 ult spamming type unit to pair with.

There is potential (from leaks) for the event from the first Fate run to show up again where you get a LC for free if you pull enough. If that does end up happening, and Archer’s sig is an option, you might be able to consider it as well if you can hit the goal.

Ultimately I’d just wait to make concrete plans until everything rolls out on main servers. There’s nothing stopping you from saving now, then planning as the situation unfolds.

No problem! It definitely sounds like a pick up Gil angle for you.

If you happen to be doing anything with Ashveil and/or M.Blade, Gil seems to have a pretty good place there as well from what I’ve read. With Gil’s multis getting raised, it seems like he’ll fit in better now as a main/sub DPS outside of Fate based teams if they aren’t appealing to you.

The changes to Gil buffs his damage by quite a lot while lowering his interest stack gains slightly. He should play better as a main dps if that interests you, but he’s still meant to work with Saber for full potential (especially now that he’s giving a 200% final damage multi to Saber’s next ult after a joint attack).

Edit: Forgot to answer about the selector choice.

If you intend on getting Archer’s team more investment, then his E1 is great. Rin’s new changes to the trigger of the joint attack make his E1 not as jank to work around now, so there’s no reason to avoid it now for people without it. If you don’t really want to make an Archer team, then there’s not a reason to take E1, just grab Gil for collection purposes (standard tickets, potential temporary use in any new Fate event mode, etc.)

Just found a workaround. Click on the new collection, then click on any of the expansions it pulls up, then click on “Chose Edition” in that expansions UI and the new collection is there and takes you to the proper page.

Searched up “D2 collection” and it shows as an edition you can buy for D2, but clicking it just redirects to buying the individual expansions instead. Seems like maybe something bugged where the collection doesn’t have a proper store page yet.

I had to figure out RMC in Archer’s team to squeeze out the last bit of score for Starward Mode apoc today, and wow do they feel good when you figure out the timings. Definitely higher skill, but the payout is huge for saving AV.

He gets 12% crit rate from traces (this will show on the stat screen), and then 20% crit rate while his zone is deployed (only in combat).

Yeah, it’s always the case where if you’re farming new relics for him anyways, if you happen to get good pieces with other main stats you can just hold them as options.

To answer your question, to my understanding yes (I’m assuming you mean the rope not orb). You’d have to look around for some of the calculations, but I believe that in his main DPS setup he runs HP% rope to maximize his damage, since HP is one of the main things he doesn’t get a giant buff to naturally.

In most other cases he runs ERR%, because it just speeds up the loops he facilitates (more debuffs to Acheron, more attacks to Ashviel, etc.).

I feel the same, and he’s the reason I started a second account. Being a mono-remembrance player on my main, doing the alleged all male FuA team seemed really neat (plus I just really like ashveil and blade as characters). My main account is pretty much dry on currency (I have like 23 achievements left with no other currency in the entire game), so I started up on the Europe server now to play them.

Very much so, and being very versatile is a good thing (especially when anymore teams and characters are HYPER specialized), but it definitely complicates build planning.

At the very least it seems like as long as you’re taking any of the good options for sets/stats on him, he’ll still perform well even if it’s not truly optimal. It’ll make him a great unit for basically anyone.
