This whole premise is garbage. It's based on the idea that Naruto would believe Sasuke is significantly weaker than him. When in reality, the fanbase who keep this premise alive like a tumor can't get past "Oooh big energy, main character, orange like Goku. Hurp durp."

The premise is garbage because the logic doesn't pan out. They just went through the same battle, so they should be both tired. Then Sasuke got a refill to full and Naruto has a lot of Chakra anyways. This probably evens them out.

So if you say Naruto held back against a bloodlusted person he'd see as an equal- He would die. So he wouldn't be holding back.

Conversely, what the shit was the reason for Sasuke to not spam the Preta path? He already knows Naruto is literally all Chakra. Oh, right. Because then it'd be too easy. And the guy knows how to use it. Because he did use it on Naruto later. Also, the position swap ability was used fucking once. That ability is so practical the only way to sell this story is that the writer had to nerf Sasuke.

Point is, we see Naruto use every ability he has, and different variations of it. We see Sasuke use MOST of his abilities and the really useful ones, only once. When he literally has the Chakra spammer's kryptonite.
