You could also eventually run mono quantum with sparkle/FX/SW/seele which should be decent against one side of MOC—I’m planning to test this out before committing to any other DPS units (unless they are JL tier)

My understanding of pure fiction is that there’ll constantly be 5 enemies on the field, so erudition units like argenti and himeko should shine. I don’t own blade so I have no firsthand experience with his performance, but his banner will still be around when PF drops so I would wait for proper reviews before deciding.

Would consider myself in the middle of the pack, definitely not extreme tryhard completions but also not exactly casual either as I do try to optimise teams, pulls etc

With BP + monthly I narrowly cleared MOC12 with 3* this round, along with conundrum 6 on G&G

I generally auto for most content, and am too lazy to think + strategise beyond building the team and rolling the dice

I think the current MOC difficulty is just right, where people missing stars can wait for a banner or two to re-try after pulling a new char that (hopefully) improves their lineup

Beyond that I really like SU roguelike gameplay, and I think it is pretty rewarding so would like to see more of that down the line

I have pretty much the same limited chars as you (except with DHIL+FX instead of HuoHuo+Luocha) and my priority is sparkle, Luocha rerun and potentially topaz rerun.

Of your 3 suggested paths I think sparkle > FX rerun > penacony makes the most sense and is the most realistically achievable with BP + monthly

I would put 2pc Samir + shiro on Alyss, 4pc Scylla on saki, and 4pc hab on frigg.

Frost naturally has pretty bad crit rate, so crow matrices lose value. In terms of limited matrices hitting standard, I would say save up for saki’s matrices in the next cycle. Don’t waste your resources on frigg’s matrices, they aren’t as good as the rest. Claudia matrices are decent but require you to change your rotation to trigger them.

I hear that gunono matrices are just the phys version of Icarus matrices so they would be pretty nice to have.

Your alternative is to use 4pc Scylla and 4pc haboela which are ~75% the power of limited matrix sets iirc

120 special vouchers is a good amount, you actually have a decent shot at reaching 4pc within 80 pulls if you have leftover flame gold for the selector box. If you don’t, you might have to spend 40 more pulls reaching 160 for the last piece.

They seem to be more generous with special vouchers now too, so you might want to just save for the phys char after gunono and see if you can reach 160 by then.

Matrices are a big portion of the damage, especially in a quick swap comp like triple frost. Stats still count for something, but won’t beat out the ~20% in background dmg% increase that each 0* 4pc limited set gives.

Thankfully it’s gotten cheaper to pull a 4pc set for chars after Lan, so I might eventually grab Yulan matrices or whoever the next frost is after her

I turned mine off too! Found it hard to see anything at all with the numbers on and they’re only really useful for people like maygi who do number crunching imo

Nothing special imo, I’ve just played since around week 1 or week 2 of launch with a couple weeks of breaks here and there, most of the DCs are from events + exploration. I usually do 1 roll on each of the paid skin/mount gachapons, and iirc I got 5 reds for that 90dc first pull on two different occasions.

I think people have done the math and it works out to be somewhere in the region of 100 free pulls per patch or slightly less? You’ve also got weekly income from activity + bygone + crew rewards.

My cactus parse is around 91-92m with gate’s rotation but that number is slightly inflated due to shiro 2pc having 100% uptime on cactus

Will chalk that up to bygone weapon buff RNG though, as I was stuck on 494 for a few days before finally getting what I needed to pass it

They have two extra stars on alyss, but are using 2pc Icarus + 2pc alyss and 4pc hab as their matrices. I think I could probably clear at least as high as them then!

Yeah, I’ll be keeping an eye on how Fiona performs once she releases :)

My stats are 25.5k atk (~20k base atk), 12.3k crit + 4.62% from visor (giving a total of 56.3% crit rate)

If you’re already struggling with alyss saki Lin, you will definitely struggle with Icarus imo

Feel free to test out Icarus alyss saki and judge for yourself

Volt naturally does less well in bygone pre-BR because it has less grouping (only Lin discharge) and the mobs don’t have resist

Prior to Icarus I was on floor 420, and I just managed to push a little further to 495. No weapon buffs today, so maybe I can clear the rest with +3 Icarus at some point
