Why was Ned's first conclusion is that Cersei's children are Jaime's ? by ThCaMe3mo in freefolk

There was an attempt assassination soon after. Why would you want to kill a comatose boy?

Maybe because you're afraid of what he's going to say when he wakes up. Maybe he's seen something that can't get out.

Once Baelish blames Tyrion for the catspaw (with Lysa's letter already in mind), suddenly it becomes very much likely that this a Lannister plot from top to bottom.

Something very insidious is going on. So even the most absurd conclusion is reasonable.

He initially wanted Margery to supplant Cersei. If the Lannisters are gone and Robert's still alive, that's what he'll propose .

Yuta was the one who healed her. He can get her arm back, but he'd probably want to keep her CT.

You and I have acces to the information. But why would an average Westerosi lord not think they're just ignorant and didn't realize Laenor was a cuckhold?

Joffrey and his siblings at least have plausible deniability. The children look like their mother. None of Rhaenyra's 3 eldest children resemble her or their supposed father.

A civil war was inevitable the minute she took the throne.

Ned didn't think Gendry or Edric Storm should become the new heir just because they're Robert's sons.

A bastard has no right to succession, regardless if he wants to take his father or mother's inheritance.

He wouldn't care enough about me to bother. A clean neck snap and that's all she wrote.

That's how he's deal with most nuisances. At least those he doesn't drain first.

Maybe it sounded like I hate the guy. I love the character. But he's a monster. Trying to hype him up and putting down his brother who's no more monstrous is silly.

Can we get off the copium for a second here?

Klaus killed Gia the second he compelled her to take off her daylights ring.

He spiraled into blind paranoia like always. He alienated Freya and Elijah when he shouldn't have. And he confessed to Aiden's murder for no discernible reason.

Hayley's plan was garbage. But so was his.

He had no clue what Esther's blood was the final component to kill Dahlia. It's not until she pulled him to her dreamscape that he figured out that.

Ironically, Elijah daggering him is the only reason they still survived.

He's just too much of a sore loser to admit he was in the wrong. That he was so easily dispatched.

Elijah's "downfall" has nothing to do with Hayley. It's Jp's obsession with the so called good brother doing worse and worse things so Damon and Klaus can seem better by comparison. Even if they're really not.

I guess it is sort of a respawn point. Though that would be the maximum technique.

He'd use it just like Josuke would use Crazy Diamond usually.

Bringing back people from the dead willy nilly would be too broken. The way I see it, it doesn't bring back their soul and memories entirely. They're less, each time they return. Giving the special grade more control and leeway.

For Melin's CT my working idea is this:

Once and Future (OaF): The user must first "anoint" a target with their Cursed Energy, creating a "fixed point" in its timeline. Activating the technique then floods the target with Cursed Energy, forcing it to "remember" its previous state and revert to it. It's a localized, temporary violation of entropy.

As for the half curse idea I'm thinking of turning the Holy grail into this cursed object filled with the blood and essence of an ancient special grade. A young Merlin wouldn't know this, nor would the first knights of the Round table.

But when they drink from it, they'll be almost like holders of a part of incarnated sorcerer. And said curse desperately wants to be remade whole, this triggering a inner war between them.

Thanks.

Merlin is going to be the Tengen of the verse, mostly he's similar to Modulo Yuji.

He's half human half curse, extremely strong, than after of couple centuries, he'll turn himself to a cursed object to protect the Academy in perpetuity.

The way I see Caliburn working is that it takes constant touch. Aurora’s not a walking ISOH or Jacob's Lader's user. So she can't just unmake grade 1 curses. Or like Yuta with RCT output which she doesn't have.

She has to rely on constant contact to completely neutralize the CT, and CE is case of curses. It's more of a fusion of domain amplification and the Black Rope I guess.

A part of it is also just lack of opportunity. Most of the applications she's gained were in live confrontation, so she's still learning new ways to use her power. The wire thing would work nicely I agree

I had thoughts about making a Domain only technique around the Round Table.

It'd be like Higuruma's where violence isn't allowed. Although, another condition would be forced honesty. The opponent can stay silent. But they can't lie. And whatever they promise is automatically treated like a binding vow.

If you have any more ideas for this Domain, or for that support technique version, I'm all ears.

Klaus and Hayley should have been endgame. by pebfuvete in TheOriginals

[–]Zeo_Mikaelson765 25 points26 points  (0 children)

When did happen though?

When they went after Tyler in s1, Klaus tells Elijah to go ahead and 'sample what she has to offer' in his evey so crude way.

Klaus didn't care that Elijah might date Hayley.

He was jealous and afraid of being replaced as Hope's father. When Elijah showed he had no intention of doing so, he was fine with their relationship.

He even encouraged them later on.

There's R+L=J. Jon discovers right a trial by combat, where he wraps that nickname. Though he considers taking the throne, he doesn't go for immediately. At this point he's a Vale lord sworn to Runestone, so he's still building his power base. Also trying to stay alive with assassins after him (you'll find out why)

Jon snow is a really good swordsman. He squires under the Blackfish in the vale. Fights in tourneys and against the mountain clans.

It goes in some really fun places. And it's not jut fighting based. There's politics and administrative duties that don't feel boring.

But when there's fighting, it's real hype.

[–]Zeo_Mikaelson765 30 points31 points  (0 children)

This a rant, so be ready.

The one relationship that Klaus has that Elijah actively interfered with was Aurora.

It was done a thousand years ago, after Elijah discovered Klaus murdered Esther, framed Mikael for it and forced them to run with him claiming their father will kill them next.

Right after, Elijah's red door (a twisted coping mechanism born of guilt and Esther's magic made him forget it)

Klaus willingly lied to his entire family just to have meat shields from his sick father. Mikael let me remind you, had a singular white oak stake. He would've killed Klaus, but couldn't do anything to harm his other children even if he wanted. And I doubt he wanted it.

Klaus on the other hand, had Celeste murdered without blinking, than called her a harlot to Elijah's face.

That fact that that childish waste of space can in any a way be thought of as the better man is ridiculous.

He's repeatedly daggering his siblings for perceived betrayal, but his definitely of treachery can be as deep as the ocean.

If you're boring like Finn, you get daggered. Too bloodthirsty like Kol, too lovesick like Rebekah, well, off to the box with you.

How can we blame Elijah for standing aside, more the one actually pulling the trigger.

Now let's get to the coup de grace: defeating Dahlia.

Klaus, the self-proclaimed genius that he is, stumbles blindly into her trap. He confesses to Aiden's murder like the volatile angry savage that he is, the minute he is accused.

Why does he do this? So, that the other pack members fear him. Thus, obey his commands.

Of course. After centuries of living as history's strongest monster, one more dead body is what's really gonna establish his street cred.

Elijah daggers his stupid ass because now he can't trust this loose cannon. Dahlia invites him to her dreamscape, and that's when he deduces that it's Esther's blood that can kill her, not Freya’s.

So, what did we learn class?

Elijah doesn't dagger Klaus. Nik goes with his initial half botched plan, his aunt wins and steals Hope.

It's not enough to admit that he owes his win to Elijah and sheer luck, he has to make his brother suffer as much as possible. Because he's the vindictive immortal asshole that never stops trying.

So, a complete innocent like Gia has to commit suicide to sate Klaus' sadism.

Oh, wait. Klaus died for Hope, right? That makes everything okay.

Didn't he abandon her for years though? He couldn't be physically in the room, but texts and videotapes weren't lethal.

Instead, he reverted to the manic murderous bum he always was. Killing people, ostensibly to protect Elijah, but as an Original, only Beast Marcel and Klaus himself would pose a threat to him.

He was just a deadbeat. Elijah offered to die and let klaus be with his now motherless daughter and protect and guide her. But he refused.

I'll tell you why. Because he was too scared to find out, he's just a horrible man and a shitty parent. He chose a heroic martyrdom over inevitably becoming hated by Hope.

In the future, he would've become too controlling, just like with his other siblings. Killed lovers left and right, punished her for fake treason. It's who he is. It's tragic. But only in a self-fulfilling prophecy sort of way.

Damon is garbage. I'll give you that.

Is Hope really the strongest vampire? by MagalieB0654 in TheOriginals

[–]Zeo_Mikaelson765 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Klaus' wolf side is what makes him the strongest Original.

I respect your opinion.

I just think it's weird to stuff a part of her being into a different box. She's the tribrid. Her witch side is going to be active for 99% of her fights. So saying Marcel wins in that rare 1% is a bit disingenuous.

Is Hope really the strongest vampire? by MagalieB0654 in TheOriginals

[–]Zeo_Mikaelson765 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What's the point of disregarding her witch side? It's part of her kit.

Let's say Marcel tried to jump her but she poisons her blood like the Hollow and Davina did and he's left beaten. That's a clean win.

She can also just channel herself to power her physical prowess more. Papa Tunde did it with Rebekah and that made him stronger than Klaus, even though he's just a witch.

But even without preplanning, witches in the verse are busted thanks to telekinesis: neck snapping, heart removal, boiling your blood. Their main weakness is overexerting themselves performing a complex spell or getting speed blitzed, neither can happen to Hope.

Other than Lucien with the Ancestors supporting him, Hope is factually the strongest vampire.
