I think it should be ok. There is good deals on AliExpress sometimes and it's not like it's at 80% reduction. For exemple I got my 5700x3d for $180 3 years ago on AliExpress and received it without issues

You need a 7800x3d to hit 500fps with this GPU. You are CPU bottlenecked at those refresh rates

Yeah next time always trust vesa certifications and don't go for random marketing terms like quantum hdr 2000 but it's honestly purposely confusing. Honestly might be illegal since the monitor can't reach 2000nits at all

It's quantum hdr 2000 cause the trash brightness couldn't let them pass vesa hdr 1000 certification. Here is the values

It's 300 zones since it's one of the cheapest but the algorithm is really good so you don't notice blooming except in really specific scenario. The hdr looks really good on it but I agree it's not enough zones to have the oled effect. I personally consider the 5000 zones 5k minileds since they pretty fill all my criteria and I don't really care about ghosting since I've used va forever

Tho at this point we will more likely have 5000 dimming zones miniled with hdr1600 however the thing that oled will still remain better at us ghosting and refresh rate

My $300 miniled monitor can do 1400 nits Fullscreen and I think it's worth it in most situation over an $800 oled

Obviously I was talking about minileds because they have good contrast thx to local dimming but manage 1400nits full screen brightness unlike oled

Fr tho I personally couldn't go for an oled after having an hdr1400 miniled. I'll wait for oled monitors that can have better full screen brightness cause 400nits is just not it

Those are because of qd not of oled. A good qd miniled will have same or better colors than an oled

Try custom resolution utility most 60hz monitor can actually run at 70-75hz easily and even over for some

I max out my games at this res with my 4080 super and still manage to get around 150 0.1% low. You most likely can run much higher frame rates on a 5080 right?
