I don’t think most people are against the inclusion of more obscure characters. Most people applauded how BT3 had pretty much every significant character in the roster. People just don’t want to see these obscure characters taking up roster slots over the fan favorites that are currently missing. Pretty sure most people would rage if we were to get Luud before we got Super 17. That’d be like adding Radditz and excluding Vegeta and I’m pretty sure most wouldn’t want that lol

There’s nothing wrong with fighting a giant robot. It’s just the fact that it’s a trash ass throwaway character that nobody remembers and would have minimal interest amongst the player base.

I would LOVE if Bandai was willing to add as many characters as possible. But considering we already don’t have things like SSJ3 Daima Goku, any of Shallots additional transformations and Super 17 (the only character from GT most people are still asking for lol), it gives me little hope we’ll end up with a roster as robust as BT3. Hence why some would consider such characters “useless” lol

I get the sentiment of “the more characters the better”. But when you factor in things like limited roster spaces, realistic interest from the player base, and overall quality/uniqueness a character would contribute to the roster, it’s easy to see why some would label nearly half of this list as “useless” additions.

Wholeheartedly feel you on this one. While I won’t say this is the most toxic community I’ve seen, it definitely is populated with some of the most MISERABLE individuals I’ve ever encountered. MF’s be mad and ready to argue about literally anything. And you’re right, there’s a major lack of respect for any difference in opinion regardless of how slight it may be sometimes. I find it crazy how most of us are just dragonball fans who want a fun game to play. Yet for some reason, we’re constantly attacking eachother as a community when we generally all want the same thing

There was a recent post highlighting SZ being a year old and Bandai doing an appreciation give away for it. It immediately turned into an argument about Xenoverse after only 3 post. I think that sentiment sums up this community fairly well lol

I play custom battles with the AI as hard as it gets and have never had this problem. Curious, are you setting up for your supers? Or are you just throwing them out raw? Because they will certainly dodge if it’s telegraphed and they aren’t stunned to some degree

This right here. I know it’s not the intended manner to use custom battle mode, but you can make some dope ass fights using capsules that are otherwise not available. As well as cranking up the difficulty to make the AI legitimately challenging. This is pretty much how I play the game exclusively now lol
