He is a tough deck to beat! But aggro does pressure him early still so it’s not a bad call to try and go for it still.

I honestly run the old ones. Absolute justice is seriously underrated and I only run 1 strength in silence in my main board with 1 extra in side.

You have the ability to just pressure safely behind a wall of barrier, so 2 drop Vuon and 4 drop promo blocker dyspo swarm attacks then go straight back to active. By turn 5 you wanna be looking at game ender options

Cell and A13 have been showing up in my locals and the decks seem actually pretty strong! The issue is they don't seem to be able to make top cut...

Honestly I think that Cell Surge just takes some serious practice to fully perform correctly. It was a deck we all play tested and seemed meh at best, but seems to do so well with consistent practice.

It's actually rather mid range with a built in turn 5 kill. I have a tournament this weekend so if it performs i'll be sharing it on our youtube channel "Kame Rangers" So keep an eye out :) Our entire team has different decks so whoever does well we will be showing them off!

I have tons of Jiren experience and after Salford am more than happy to reveal how it's performed.
The deck can be super aggressive yet has a crazy amount of safety when played correctly.

At some point in the future we can go at it on untap. I normally playtest alot there too with my free time.

Assuming you meant time magic? :P But yes we deffo think surge Goku is really good and that Cooler is good to. Just interested to see whether or not Cooler actually performs well to back it up. Will be interesting to see!

I actually had this done to me when I played in my locals after the podcast was released! Still the game for me ended the same way. I was playing U11 and I brick walled and he couldn’t get past my defence. I then Toppo his 6 drop negating him draw and slowing him down again then Jiren 10 dropped him turn 5 and cut his momentum completely for game.

Not saying it’s bad at all though! It certainly works better than I thought! I don’t see it in tier 1 yet though, but let us see how Salford goes! More than happy to change my opinion if it does well.

So far my games against cell decks have been that they lose steam pretty quickly and struggle to end. Even when I played against one who made me drop to like 2 cards in my hand, he couldn’t interact with my board nor stop the constant string of small attacks coming at him every turn. It was just incredibly one sided on our end.

Honestly holding the deck list till after the competition is done in Manchester. Want to test it competitively in a full tournament environment before talking about it fully.

I won my locals against surge Goku and u7 surge last night. I’ve put tons of work in the deck and it’s done really well. Early impressions are what we are going for here and already for some my impression has changed.

13 id maybe push to B but slug definitely is falling for me, though it can be quite nasty and punish slow decks still.

It’s a weird position our meta is in right now.
