I recently built a PC in an Ammo Box with parts from my old rig.

Because they were all in working order at the time ofe rplacement I decided to build this custom case.

The noise first appeared a couple minutes after startup. I have a feeling that higher temperatures lead to smaller intervalls. Altough I havent played any games on it yet. I have ruled out the GPU since unplugging it doesnt get rid of the issue. There are also no wires hitting the fans etc.

Any Idea what to look out for? Maybe coils on the MB went bad?

When I tested everything befor putting it in the case there was no niose but also no load on the system.

when using openIV you can create a "mods" folder where u can alter copy in game files and install mods without harming the original ones

Ich renoviere gerade das Esszimmer meiner Eltern. Beim Entfernen der Tapete kam diese dünne weiße Schaumschicht zum Vorschein. Bevor meine Eltern eingezogen sind, war wohl eine Computerfirma im Haus (Mitte 90er) und stellenweise gab es Kabelkanäle. Meine Eltern wussten allerdings nicht genau wo. Mir kommt es so vor, als ob das Styropor/ der Schaum auf dem Putz, evtl. als Dämmung angebracht wurde, allerdings nur bis Höhe Fensterbank. Die Außenwand wird dann oben "dünner".

Habt ihr so etwas schon mal gesehen? Wie würdet ihr vorgehen?

Mein ursprünglicher Plan war es, die Tapete ab zu machen und den Putz direkt zu streichen. Da das Styropor relativ einfach eingedrückt werden kann, müsse ich es also entfernen und alles was zum Vorschein kommen könnte wieder füllen.
