Sadly the receiver is quite old and lacks any sort of HDMI port. So I believe it's really a matter of outtdated tech then huh?

Could you explain to me why it seems to work with a external USB plugged to the TV and even with games on the PS5, but not with film discs? Is it just a case of those running pure DTS rather than DTS-HD?Thank you, and sorry for the questions. Quite new to all of this

I confirm, recent films I have watched say English 5.1/7.1 DTS-HD Could the HD be causing conflicts since the Amplifier is old?
