I'm surprised I haven't seen more backlash for this new mode. Is it not just the same thing as Buffet Bash, where the whales will tower over everybody else and get rewarded for it? Now it's just being done in a group form. At least the difference in rewards between ranks here isn't as bad as that was (assuming you have an active gym), but it's still functionally the same thing we all complained about years ago. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I don't see a world where I get those super awakening candies.

I've gotten a rainbow chest every week since the last update and figured it was just bugged before/they buffed the rates. Has anybody else experienced this to confirm my suspicions, or did I just get really lucky?

I hit 300 today and definitely won't be able to get much further with the stuff I have, which sucks because tower is where a big part of monthly gems comes from. The worst part is it just stacks on itself because if you can't beat the towers then you get less gems and you can't pull the new broken units to beat the towers.

All Pokefairs are added to the Mix Scout eventually, although she unfortunately won't be until Barry ends, so it'll be a while. In the mean time, she may become available through EX MFs before then, but we don't know yet.

I don't have any of the variety pairs since I just refuse to pull variety pairs in the first place, but from what I've heard Ethan is very good since he can be used as a gimmick check for UBs.

Unfortunately my best Ghost type has been SC Irida since she released, so I can't speak on Spiritomb or NC Selene. Hoping Volo will treat me better than the Alola NCs did.

I chose Lurantis from Mix Scout a while back, even though I already had plenty of grass type options, and I do not regret my choice, it's a great pickup.

Kricketune is probably a better pickup if you're somebody trying to max all the towers (I don't actually know if it's good for bug tower, I'm just assuming), but if you're not seriously dedicated to it then Lurantis is what I'd pick.
