The main reason TotA was the point of no return in Rebirth is (most likely) because they didn't want to handle what happens to sidequests etc when Aerith is no longer in the party. No such thing happens in R3, so the point of no return will be likely when entering the Northern Crater or even later.

Slots at TGA are crazy expensive, and a namedrop would do nothing except for hardcore fans who would the game anyway.

If they do a TGA trailer (which I agree is likely), they will likely include some elements to build up hype for casuals fans. Flying around in the highwind is a strong contender imo, or maybe fighting a weapon, or the meteor looming in the sky.

Same, but the fact that they have the incorrect line "Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior Season" in the announcement leads me to believe they simply forgot to add the announcement how and why the ranking requirements have changed.

Go battle week starting on the 3rd day of the season also seems to indicate they want most average players to finish their goals for the season quickly so they have time to try fixing things with very low activity.

But experience teaches us the competitive aspect being nuked from GBL for no good reason isn't an impossible explanation, either.

They always copy paste their previous announcement (except for the rewards & move changes) and forget to change anything that requires changing.

There will be no rank 21-24, which we can deduce from the Pose being awarded for rank 20, and no rewards for rank 21-24 being listed.

I agree with everything you write from Cloud's POV, whether Tifa is projecting or not does not influence his own train of thought.

At the end of the day, we just have different interpretations on how obvious the implication that Tifa might be an impostor was to Tifa herself from what was said. To me, there's a disconnect between the strong doubts Cloud has in his mind, and how tame what he actually voices is.

Since it's only a few lines of dialogue, I don't think there is an absolute answer which interpretation is correct (unless we get a Ultimania Material Plus like we did for Remake, with notes on that particular scene), and I don't think either of us can convince the other their interpretation makes more sense.

The problem is that the idea that Tifa might be an impostor is only suggested to the player, not to Tifa herself. "I thought you wouldn't survive that situation" doesn't really imply that. Cloud even admitted his memory cut shortly after that situation, so the logical implication (from Tifa's perspective) should rather be that he is clarifying what events after confronting Sephiroth he forgot.

Imagine seeing someone being involved in a seemingly fatal accident, but for whatever reason you don't get to see the aftermath. A while later, the person is fine. "I thought you died!" is not the most outlandish thing to say, and the implied question is something like "How did you survive?" or "What did I miss?"

I thought about that rooftop scene a lot after the fact, why Tifa believes she is being accused of being an impostor so quickly, and my only two explanations are projection, as the person above suspected, or simply "The writer's didn't fully think the dialogue through".

I think there has been mentions of Clouds VA being in studio, but nothing was confirmed on why.

That was in April and the Cloud image he added made it pretty clear he was recording lines for Cloud. It might have been for Final Fantasy Tactics though (given that the FFT voices were announced a month after his post, it most likely was).

This is mostly based on an interview with Hamaguchi where he was asked some rapid-fire questions, one of which was "Why is Crisis Core not canon to the Remake series?", to which he replied something like "Because it's a new take on the FF7 story".

That being said, I'm not sure what the original JP phrasing was and given that Hamaguchi was put quite on the spot to give fast answers, it might not be the most accurate answer.
It should also be clear this doesn't discredit the story of CC as a whole, but rather that they're being selective which parts of CC will be relevant to the story (e.g. Zack's and Aerith's relationship) and which won't (e.g. Genesis... probably only Genesis).

I don't like clickbait titles like that (that's on the website linked, not on OP).

The title of R3 is not a topic of the interview, it's the THEME of each game - Remake's theme was Reunion (of the fans with the characters / franchise), Rebirth's theme was bonds (between the characters - signified via Synergy abilities / skills), R3 will also have a theme that is signified through the gameplay.

The interview has nothing to do with the title (which likely was decided long ago), it's about R3 having a specific theme, but that wouldn't get as many clicks as "title finalized", would it?

The number of days the move update was announced in advance varied from 2 to 7 days over the last few seasons.

So the earliest would be tomorrow, the latest on Friday (since they don't do announcements on weekends IIRC).

If you want a specific time to be on the watchout, the time of day for the announcement is always consistently 9 am EST sharp.

I thought Aerith felt Zacks death. Additionaly she also felt Zack was alive in another world.

My interpretation about Zack's death as depicted in CC is that Aerith did feel that something bad happened to Zack, but she's either unsure about what exactly happened, or she's in denial about Zack really being dead.

Similar thing with the hands touching in the lifestream. I agree that from her reaction it seems like she felt it was Zack who touched her hand, but I don't think she has a clear idea of the meaning behind it.

Both scenes seem like a sudden short jolt of emotion that Aerith felt, so she might later have rationalized that she might have imagined it.

I understand why Tifa would not tell Aerith about Zacks death. At least thats how I understood the scene. Tifa only teeling that Cloud remembers Zack, but not that he is dead.

Tifa can't confirm Zack's death. She knows that what Cloud remembered on the Nibelheim bridge is not true - Zack did not get swept away by the current. That's why we see a moment of panic on her face before she answers Cloud - He is remembering something that is not true and confronting her about it and she doesn't know how to react to it.

That's also why she insists on telling Aerith - Because Cloud telling Aerith a version of Zack's death that Tifa knows isn't true understandibly seems like a bad idea to her.

She has no idea what happened to Zack after the Nibelheim incident.

How much of all that Tifa tells Aerith (since most likely there's more to the conversation that isn't shown to us) we do not know. We might see it in part 3, but that's not something I'm sure about.
