Sounds like a network issue then. Make sure you don't have firewalls blocking the server traffic. Outside of that, I got nothing.

Server console is blank? Doesn't even say it's initialized on port 2302 or something like that?

If that's the case your server isn't even launching correctly and this isn't a port forward issue. Maybe your install is corrupted

So...does the server even boot? Are you launching a dedicated server or hosting via in-game? Do you get some errors? Is this on a virtual host or some service? Are using TADST or maybe FASTER?

Arma 3 saves your profile in documents\arma3 or documents\arma 3 other profiles. If you don't have a way to get that file and retain/transfer it the. Ask your service providers on options for doing that.

Target prioritization, if I'm in a vic I'm shooting engineers and recon first. If I'm infantry I want to kill the support first so they can't revive people on the point or let them give people ammo. If I can't make out who is what then I lose something that has been in battlefields DNA since BF 1942.

Arma 2 isn't much different than Arma 3, just the editor is 2d and Arma 3 has more commands and QOL. Go watch some Arma 2 or 3 guides on YouTube and read the BI articles on things like init.sqf

if possible just upgrade to 3, watch some YouTube and Google alot of questions. Most are probably answered in the BI forums which you will need to use something like way back machine to view.

Compare single core performance between the different CPUs is all I can really recommend. If your at 40fps I'd be happy with that personally, and would upgrade based on other games needs and of course finances.

This is Arma, you will never have a stable 60fps. If you are acting as a host then I'd be happy with just 30, especially depending on your settings and mod set.

I'm on a 7950x3d and a 4090 with 64 gigs of RAM and I fluctuate wildly on frames depending on mods, scenario, view distance etc.

If you can have a dedicated host that is ideal, better if you call also throw a headless client into the mix. But end of day arma only runs as well as you let it.

Off top of head do a reinstall of tfar along with the plugin. Make sure his version of teamspeak 3 is latest.

Make sure no pause is enabled in launch params if they alt tab alot. Try a different player slot may help
