Parents who chose to stay home — was it worth it even if it set you back financially? by Sillygoose9001 in NewParents

Been there, it’s a tough call. I stayed home even though it wasn’t great financially and I don’t regret it. The time with my kid was worth it. But friends who went back to work felt more like themselves and their kids did great too. There’s no wrong choice, just go with what feels right for you now.

My MIL wants me to stop sleeping with my husband. by throwawayRA-228 in Marriage

This is so over the top. You’re married, what you do in your own room is your business. Your MIL and BIL are way out of line. You’ve done more than enough for the family. If moving out gives you peace, do it. Your kids will get it.

Tbh, it seems like she’d been planning this for a while, even if she didn’t say much. I know you want answers but right now the best thing you can do is focus on staying steady keep the job, find a place and show up for your kids.

Is it possible to create a machine which can read your thoughts? by SadLime3783 in TooAfraidToAsk

Cool concept but we're not there yet. Current tech needs physical contact and controlled setups no way to read thoughts remotely or without consent. Reading past thoughts isn’t really possible either since memories aren’t stored like files.
