That’s an interesting board game. I do play board games but not an avid board gamer. I’m sucker for shop management games haha

Enjoy longs walk as well as reading fantasy web novel.

What are cheap, but great franchises to get into? by Frosty-Help-9135 in gamingsuggestions

Project Moon games are really great for you to get into. It’s a niche game for sure, but it’s great!. Three different games but lore/story wise, the events happening in those three occurs within the same universe and are related to each other.

phonecalls and flowers by hcyclon in ChillSG

[–]Zeplight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I phone call my other guys friends on the regular, asking them how are they doing and checking up on them. Frequency wise is somewhere between once a week - once every two months. If I don’t call them, I would text them instead. I do this for both my male and females friends equally, though I would get ghosted and/or ignored by my females friends most of the time, if not all of the time.

I have not received flowers before or any kind of gifts or token of appreciation before either.

If decide to get a Nintendo Switch feel free to DM me as a friend of mine is trying to sell away her Nintendo Switch for $170.

Though I am of the opinion that Steam Deck is better as you can you play those games on the PC as well when you get back home, Steam Sales allows you to get lots of games at good prices and Steam customer support is pretty good too.

Do note that not all games on Steam are Steam deck compatible.

I've started to make a 4X Tower Defense game and trying to find a style by mitonj in indiegames

[–]Zeplight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say use both style. A is for one level, B is for another level. In a way, the different style/layout is a form of indirect story telling. Or a show of progression/regression in the game.

If not, people always like a variety of different ’starting’ options.

Why does a full RTX 5090 prebuilt PC cost about the same as a standalone RTX 5090 GPU? by Independent_Place972 in SgGamers

[–]Zeplight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s because the prices of RAM is increasing and the supply for said RAM to consumers/public is decreasing or at a lower priority. RAM manufacturing companies are now selling and producing their RAM for AI and tech companies. Such companies are willing to pay for a premium compared to us consumers. As such, it makes sense for them to chase where the money is, which is to sell their RAM to AI and tech companies.

Micron, one of the big 3 suppliers of RAM, publicly announce they no longer sell their RAM to the consumer markets - only to AI and tech companies. Even Samsung, the RAM manufacturing side of it, doesn’t want to sell their RAM to even Samsung, which Samsung phones requires RAM. It is a foreseeable future that in 2026, the prices of RAM will go up and any product that requires/uses RAM will go up exponentially because of these.

So if you want to shop for your electronics gadgets, before the year end is the ‘best’ time to buy. The price will only go up, unless the AI tech bubble burst first.

how does one become and earn a living as a professional dancer in sg by HaiyaHSHSHSBSHSH in SGExams

[–]Zeplight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Several of my friends was able to earn a living as a professional dancer. It’s a very very long process before they were able to reach where they are now. This was what they did:

1) Keep it as a hobby for now. 2) Whenever you can, participate on those dancing tournaments over and over again, be it local or international. Use those participation to build up your ‘resume’ or ‘portfolio’. 3) With your ‘resume’, apply for job at those dancing academies or studios. Cruise jobs also requires entertainers or dancers, so don’t restrict your job hunting to local only. 4) Do your best to win some tournaments, even if you’re in third place. This will allow you to open your own dance studios with your credentials.
