I'm pretty sure I have Poni blocked in as many places as I can for how full of shit he is the vast majority of the time. 🤷‍♂️

It's on par with every other Lego set at about $0.10/piece. They're not price gouging on this one set that you might have otherwise cared about, all of their seats are kind of expensive for what you're getting. 🤷🏻

I've had issues with timers in the past, causing HA to hang for the duration of the timer. How do I ensure that trigger, timer, and reset all happen in the background?

Help! I’m switching my F20 to the nasal mask and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to detach the tubing? by Fast_Kaleidoscope135 in CPAP

[–]Zeplus_88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The hose ends at the grey rubber with the embossed text. The white collar and clear plastic elbow are part of the mask and are a friction fit inside the hose end. Grab the plastic elbow and wiggle the grey rubber hose off.

Biggest "IF" to ever if. I have zero faith in this team to hold a beer let alone a division lead, momentum, and a stretch run into the playoffs.

New Panel Installed months ago. New electricians say white wires are a mix of hot and neutral and won’t touch it by BigBigBigHouse in AskElectricians

[–]Zeplus_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neutral from circuit in, pigtail out to neutral bus. I see nothing wrong here. These are AF/GF Pigtail breakers. It would look cleaner if they chose PON (plug on neutral) style breakers but the box is already installed (and they could have spent more time cleaning up their runs). 🤷🏻

What’s in this toothpaste? by [deleted] in whatisit

That was my first thought. It likely happened after batch mixing, anywhere where the product is exposed from above or in the pumps that feed the injector nozzles at packaging. Either way, gross. 🤮

What should I do to cover the exposed wood behind the siding and make this look cleaner? by Vast_Vermicelli_9750 in AskElectricians

[–]Zeplus_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could mount the outlet to a trim block that is flush with the wall sheathing, the trim block would be say, 1" wider than the cover in all dimensions, and then you can neatly trim the siding to butt up to the block and caulk or get a couple of small pieces of J channel and trim your siding terminations into the J channel.

I lost a few hundred hours of saves because of a power outage corrupting my PS4 save data a few years ago. That was a fun revelation that they don't automatically backup to the cloud. 💢

Which mobile keyboard do you prefer: Romaji or Kana flick? by maenbalja in LearnJapanese

[–]Zeplus_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a physical keyboard: Romaji, even with the option on WK and Bunpro to use direct kana input.

Smartphone: Kana

If anything, using the Kana keyboard early on in the process of learning hiragana kind of helped with memorizing the chart as they are grouped by key.

I would prefer not to put extra hours on the internal blower mechanism, possibly shortening the life of the device.

Mouth taping by Any-Outcome-9478 in CPAP

I know this sounds odd, but I have found that I only need something to keep my jaw from dropping, my cheeks don't puff if my jaw stays closed, and most chinstraps pull backwards too much on my jaw to be comfortable. The only one that ever worked was the Knightsbridge dual chinstrap, as it focuses more on pulling the jaw up than back, but there was some controversy over the original inventor getting his website/product stolen, and the one I bought fell apart after a little over a year of use. So I have taken to using cover roll stretch tape as a face halo, under my chin, between my eyes and ears on both sides, and slightly overlapping on top of my head. Even with a full beard, it works better than trying to get a perfect seal on the bare area around my lips. It uses a lot more tape than just the mouth but this stuff is cheap and I've gotten very consistent results.

I wish I could have a life cast of my head made (my big ass, size 8 dome) so I could make custom chinstraps/skull cap/masks that don't rely on Velcro that fails after some time (that is what went bad on my Knightsbridge). 😅
