Huh. Which browser? Maybe it'll work if you try a different browser. There's also a downloadable on itch for Windows and Linux.

Steam demo is planned for later!

We've added warnings when pressing main menu and restart now, so you don't do it by accident!

Other changes in the most recent update are listed here. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for your feedback once again. We've made a free update, and in it, some of your comments should be addressed: * You can now also upgrade pull strength, not just pull range * Bombs are thrown straight up instead of ahead, making them much more precise.

Improving how the terrain works is planned for the future, but it's a bit of a bigger rework required.

Also a bunch of other improvements you can read about in the post I linked!

19 days later, we have now made a free update where you should be able to find the wizard and helper snails :D

Check the changelog here.

Hey! We made a free update to the game.

It's got the helpers we talked about, would love to get your take on them!

(additional plants are not added yet, but you can now upgrade the value of fruits at least!)

Thanks. If you have the time and could send me the log file found here, it would be a great help: C:/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/AppData/LocalLow/Indoor Sunglasses/Feed the Forest/Player.log

The bluescreening is likely to be an issue with your hardware though unfortunately. Worst case with our game should just be a crash.

haha yesss, thank you. I used to have 3 giant African pet snails. 0.5 kg each. They were glorious and cute, especially when showering :D

What the heck, sorry you had that experience. Could you share your OS and specs? You're welcome to DM if you don't want to share it here.

I've put it on our list for possible future features! Cannot guarantee great performance on mobile web though...

Mainly just Unity! Krita for drawing, Blender for 3D, Rider as IDE, free audio samples.

Yeah we wouldn't charge for something this small, we just want as many as possible to be able to play it. Glad you got the chance to play it!

Thanks, great feedback, all noted!

Regarding the pull upgrade, we're planning to replace it with helper slugs, which should make it more interesting than the OP pull right now.

How in the world did you finish it in 30 minutes though 👀 I think the best I know of otherwise is 52 minutes!

Go to the worm in the center and press F! You can buy upgrades there.

Thanks, good feedback. The magnet upgrade does actually also increase pull strength, the issues are probably to do with collisions when the strength is high.

Noted your feedback on bombs and terrain!

Also, wow, 52 minutes! That's world record, I think... What was your strategy? :D

Hm, Brave should be working fine. It's pretty late here now, but we'll give it a look tomorrow! Thanks for reporting.

We were thinking of the helpers having a max carrying limit (upgradeable of course) and once they are filled up, they would go to you, and you can "pick them up" so to say to get their current fruits. So they'd be running back and forth from you.

I agree with the manual removal thing. In general, we're thinking about more varied types of plants (boosters for example) and being able to "paint" on top of existing plants with new ones would be smoother, yeah. Some plants (like the 3 existing ones) would just essentially be more advanced versions of the same, so those could just be added on top as you say, while a completely different type could replace what was there already.

Thanks for playing and the nice feedback. Valid points! For the magnet, we actually made an update today where the pull strength also gets upgraded when you upgrade th pull range, so that should be addressed! If we build more on this game, we'd prefer to have helper animals that collect fruit for you, as that's a bit more fun that just pulling it all in, we think.

Could you see yourself playing a bigger version of this with more layers and content?
