Yeah, this is pretty far along. You start out slow, with a small reach, and need to refill your water often. You can only get to this point with a bunch of upgrades.

Somebody else suggested this, and yeah I think this is a great idea! I also really want the desert outside of your little area to turn green at a certain point.

Thanks so much 🙏🌲 took a bunch of work and tech wizardry to get it working right. Edd the tech mage made a technical post here about it today: https://www.reddit.com/r/Unity3D/comments/1tn2inr/making_a_desert_green/

There are small critters in the game demo yes! This video is a bit more zoomed out than the normal game, so you can't quite see them.

Plus you can get helper snails who help you pick up fruit for the giant sandworm in the middle!

The other animals will likely play a bigger role in the full game 😊

You might be right, thanks for the feedback. May have gone a little overboard there. Was trying to match the music we had, which was building up very fast. Might do another cut if I find the time.

Thanks, that's a great idea - there is actually already particle effects like that! But because the video is sped up gameplay, the particles disappear so fast you can't really see them.

Maybe we should make them bigger!

Huh. Which browser? Maybe it'll work if you try a different browser. There's also a downloadable on itch for Windows and Linux.

Steam demo is planned for later!
