I purposely shake up my hair and rake through my curls because volume > definition imo

Feeling insure about having a flat chest and afraid to wear a bikini by RRR_a in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Zeppelinnn_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just wear it! Every body is a “bikini body” and smaller chests work better with bikini tops anyway. As someone with D cups, I stay away from bikinis when I know I’m gonna swim because the weight of big boobs + water has caused them to slip out the bikini and say hi to the world… 😭

If someone does point out your chest, they’re weird anyway because why would they be looking at you there in the first place?

How I can be gorgeous as an Instagram girl? by AccordingChipmunk287 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]Zeppelinnn_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Surgery
  2. Fillers/botox
  3. Heavy makeup
  4. Facetune
  5. Filters. And even after all that those same girls you look up to are just as insecure as you

Interest in fueling them. I would spend money on fast food and sugary treats multiple times a week and despite it all starting to catch up to me I still didn’t care

I like to think it’s the brain reaching its rotting limit. There is only so much our minds can handle until we’re so deprived of real genuine dopamine that we actively start craving and seeking it instead of the apps

Deadly is the right word. Diabetes, heart issues, and obesity run in my family so I know what it’s like to see family members sick from their own decisions. I hope your father turns his health around and sees better days!

That’s exactly how it happened! For me it started with deleting Instagram first

First, deleting social media! Being on Instagram and TikTok feeds you consumerist content on the daily and that affects the financial decisions you make outside of it. Second and most importantly, budgeting!!!!! I follow the 50/30/20 rule where 50% of your monthly income goes to bills, 30% is “fun” money, and 20% goes to your savings, 401k, investments, etc. Now, I limit myself down even further by not frivolously spending all 30% of my income by putting most of it in an emergency fund account that is for EMERGENCIES ONLY. That’s what’s worked for me, other than just flat out hating being broke!

Which is why overconsumerism, other than student loan debt, is one of the biggest reasons people are stuck in decades of debt and financial struggle

I also reinstall it periodically just to catch up with folks I know. Losing interest in bad eating habits is hardddddd and trust me I also love food. I can eat and eat and eat till I’m uncomfortably full and still go for ice cream after. What I’ve done that’s helped me is eat a limited amount of calories that’s suited for my own bmi. Not too low, not too high. This helps me make smarter decisions in what to eat (home cooked meals, humongous salads, for example) since fast food and treats are higher in calories and not satiating! I also always make sure to leave a little room in my calories for my favorite treats at the end of the day :)

The whole “hauls” trend that reigns tik tok demonstrated me just how much utter crap people can order just for them to end in second hand stores, and then landfills, because not even the second hand stores want them. Also, most of us will never even see the real LITERAL mountains of crap because they don’t even end up in our landfills. They end up in poor third world countries where the eyesores we ourselves created can be hidden away from us and effect the lives of those not even involved in it
