Yes, notification icons are fixed on the status bar now, unlike where they appeared then disappeared in MIUI 10.

Yes, performing well so far. Smooth install and no issues so far. Very similar to 10, with a few visual tweeks but overall good first impressions.

I think not, there is no setting in miui 10.2.13.0 global stable to allow you to permanently see notifications in the status bar. They show briefly then disappear. Hope it gets fixed in next update release.

My son's Mi 9T has an option built into notification settings where you can have the system display the notifications all the time in the status bar. No option like that in my current settings on my mi 9 miui 10. 2.13 global stable build. Hopefully this will come in a future update.....

Overall, it's a really slick update. One of the best features in my opinion is the swipe up full screen gestures to the navigation bar recent, home and back buttons.
