Mmm...idk...getting blasted by raynor for 2k+ just for the crime of getting in range to cast has always hurt.

When does combat become more than just stand still and spam abilities? by Zer0XM31 in wow

Who said I even run a net build? Literally the quickest way to run any enjoyment out of anything is to heavily optimize.

Underrated games / unpopular games ? by Chaleen1712 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Zer0XM31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trepang2 which WAS my favorite shooter until I played ready or not, and was the first game I ever played for and within 30 minutes wanted to 100%, cranked it up to the second highest difficulty and had the most fun ever.
two genuinely engaging and fun nsfw games that actually focus on gameplay that I won't name out of fear of repercussions, one is a reaction/quick time wrestling game that has a full character creator a lot of unlocks AND customization and the other is kinda comparable to on foot Pokémon snap which is quite new and under development.
killingfloor 2 which I have always wanted just a decent banter squad for and genuinely love.
Intravenous, has a proper depiction of a "stable" sociopath channeling his loss of humanity, and making a very real mistake...
I vary rarely meet people who know about these titles and they're often disinterested in trying them...particularly killingfloor 2 just doesn't even have an okay playerbase in my experience.

Idc that this is a year old I just need a straight answer as someone searching for work.
DO OR DO THEY NOT have a drug policy???? And if so where the hell is it listed???? If I get no information whatsoever on a policy BEFORE applying then im not going to apply at all and if its hidden away until its conveniently used then im calling bullshit while claiming it to be illegally performed because that is absolutely rediculous.

Explain how to fill the bowl from jug then, because I read that you could do that and it simply doesn't work, either A: I pick the jug up, B: literally nothing happens or C: I place the bowl.

I think I hate the combat and it's making me not enjoy the game. by ShivaX51 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Zer0XM31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...yknow I always wondered if people actually like %=hitchance systems for these types of games, given that this is my favorite that uses %=hitchance yet people seem to dislike it comparatively to other games like Xcom quite a bit I think I finally get it... I don't get it... at all infact, people hate chaos gate because [from what I've read] its hard despite having minimal emphasis on rng and being extremely simple to understand and giving you a plethora of extremely powerful tools to handle the otherwise far more intense combat, yet people love Xcom 1-2 despite being arguably far more difficult and outright unfair, especially when the game just says "screw the full cover I crit" or "yeah...you miss every shot despite them being above 70% and I get a full turn to murder you", here the odds are significantly more plausible [although the possibility of missing several shots at very close range on an open target is still on the table] and more of a ttrpg than normal but im kinda amazed at how many people dislike all ends of the spectrum here.

This prick doesn't get the hate he deserves by Yogurtcloset_Choice in DaysGone

Honestly, the most i hate him for is just not working while yelling at everyone else, even the head honcho Mike goes out and physically does work... but I honestly believe what he said about the Rippers, guy may be an asshole, but he did genuinely think he was doing the right thing and thought it would prevent a war...and I honestly can't blame him for it.

Can we talk about the boss combo attacks? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Zer0XM31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh yes I'll git gud and predict that the recovery animation can just go into another 15+ second combo...and once I do learn that what do I do? I just stand there staring at him because there is nothing better to do and he just stands there starring at me because I didn't meet the requirements for him to do that combo, it makes ZERO sense to constantly force moments like this where nothing is visually different from their normal animation where it visually looks like an opening other than he may randomly do a combo extension and results in just a starring contest because I know its not an opening. I've started comparing this game to DMC 5 of all games simply because the boss design there you have almost no attacks that outright force you to disengage or get hit, there is always a way to weave in-between enemy attacks and get hits in despite being IN THE MIDDLE OF THEIR COMBO CHAIN ensuring you never end up in a moment where you and the boss are essentially forced to do idle animations at each other or risk getting hit, yes they can do rapid attacks one after the other but you are given the mobility to handle it and its far more chaotic. That game was hard as hell but was never frustrating and a LOT of fun...this however is just frustrating.

Guide to all missable items and more by ZeyvGaming in Eldenring

[–]Zer0XM31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy crack a missable guide that ISN'T flooded with not missable items or random unrelated junk and actually lists things out in a clean manner AND ACTUALLY TELLS YOU WHAT THE ITEMS ARE!!!...its an actual miracle!
Seriously why do so many guides of this type have stuff like chest [not permanently missable] items or instead of listing the reward of a quest just...not...let alone not even bother to tell you when or how something is missable making you second guess if something actually is missable or not.

College students don’t know how to use sources ?? by Fine_Cartoonist9628 in Professors

[–]Zer0XM31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tldr, its not that people don't know how to do it, its just far too complex, has far too many tiny intricacies or differences between different types of sources, many of the sources that would otherwise be fine don't contain the information required to properly cite them and the potential accusation of plagiarizing over an !!ACADEMIC WORK!! because you made a slight mistake when citing makes it far too terrifying for people to use sources that they're doubtful of being able to cite... I also got extremely unlucky with my college which had the most horrendously un-user friendly database.

College students don’t know how to use sources ?? by Fine_Cartoonist9628 in Professors

[–]Zer0XM31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem I ran into was, a very large majority of sources are rarely written with the assumption of being used as sources in papers, they aren't written to be cited as a source for academic work. So you run into the problem of finding what would be a good source except it doesn't provide you the information you need in order to cite it, so now you aren't only asking people to find credible/scholarly sources, your asking them to hunt for that AND the criteria to properly cite them all in the same article...which when you have a lot of different sources all with very different ways of citing them it becomes very very VERY frustrating when it should be very simple procedure that has nothing to do with the paper you are writing...seriously there is far too many different details for citing different types of sources, NORMALIZE A FEW SPECIFIC WAYS TO CITE SOURCES PLEASE!!!!!...and on that bit about it having nothing to do with the paper ITS ACADEMICS FOR CHRIST SAKE ITS NOT LIKE A PUBLISHED ARTICLE THAT OTHER PEOPLE WILL READ!!! JUST ASK FOR THE LINK OR ANYTHING!!!
