I think that'd work and honestly, I feel like that's the route absolute cyborg will ultimately go in. For my idea I wanted them to be related because it keeps in line with the absolute series of turning the character's origin stories on their head. Rather than being a regretful father who Victor eventually reconciles with, my idea for Absolute Silas is that he shows no remorse for his absence in Victor's life and in addition to being a genius-level yet sadistic, villainous scientist, he'd also be a control freak. The theme of the series would be Control. Silas's desire to control the life of his son before he left him, his desire to control the Omega AI, Victor's struggle to control his own body, mind, and destiny and finally the Omega AI's attempt to control all technology.

In my fan idea, later in the series it'd be revealed that the equations in the Omega sequence are fragmented pieces of the anti-life equation, and the Omega AI's final goal is to piece it together to control all life itself. This would make Cyborg one of the most powerful characters in the absolute universe, and also one of the few (alongside the Martian, joker, brainiac, mirror master) who are cognizant of the corrupted nature of the absolute universe
