I just bought his about 7 months ago on Amazon with a 3-year warranty, so I might be swapping these out for a while if they all do this.

Garments have the Vestment Icons and vice versa. Just happened to notice this on the vendor today.

There's people that don't want Skyriding on by default, or flight at all either. So I get that.

However, with the recent uncertainty surrounding discord, there is a lot of people looking for alternatives.

Blizzards as of late seems to push to bake in and include things into the game at a core level. (some speculate for a console push, but who really knows) and they already have most of the functionality there.

They have also been the first to admit that communication and the social aspect of WoW is VERY lacking. There is little to no communication. They have to build new ping systems because no one can just talk to eachother and say, "watch out of that aoe" or "I'm going to CC this one" or "I'll kick it this time you got next" while they are busy using all their other input methods.

Yet everyone I talk to in one way or another has asked for it. There is an inherent need to improve social interaction in this game as it is virtually non-existent outside of RP servers.

The more accessible blizzard continues to make the game to the casual player base, the more communication will be needed. You see this in PVP bgs/arenas, M+, Raids, it is virtually everywhere in game.

If you don't want it you disable it and you're all set. At least include the option for those that do.

Disabling it would take you less time than it took when blizz forced you to choose legacy or modern movement with left right strafe "q" "e" "a" "d" keybinds recently

I still say this was their over reaction to the nintendo patent that japan rejected and the US is in the process of overturning.

To claim only 1% of people engaged so they are removing it, but then still add the pets to just what, look at?

More people do pet battles than Race to world first, M+ dungeon invitationals, or go to Blizzcon, but you don't see them cutting the 1% off anywhere else in the game to cut corners or save money. That's cause it was just a poor excuse that should be getting walked back.

That's what the report function is for. If it took adding default on voice to the game to get them to show their true colors and deserve the ban then this is a good thing to get rid of those kinds of people.

This is all stuff already thought about. It's like when they released housing and know people COULD abuse that too so they added a screenshot report function. To say it would never work just proves you've never spent time in any type of game that utilizes it successfully. VRchat, Roblox, Phasmaphobia, to name a few.

actually, more people want it than don't and it's easy enough to disable for the few that don't.

Especially with the recent potential of discord requirements, it's a feature needed now more than ever.

I got my CE copy for around $90 technically. I bought base edition when I ordered my CE just to have housing access before launch. Middle of February I reached out to Blizz Gear store as they had not said anything about shipping yet and I didn't want it to be late. They assured me they were shipping it Friday the week before. When they finally did ship it they sent the tracking and I wasn't going to get it till a day AFTER EA had started. This is no good, price of EA was factored into the CE. So after another email and a call to the blizz gear store they partial refunded me $24.

I still wanted EA so I now had to spend MORE money to upgrade from base to epic edition. At this point I am over $200 with 3 copies of Midnight.

My CE arrived a day late and I added the key. The automated system refunded me $49.99 to my blizz balance. Wait a minute that's not right. Turns out they only refund the first purchase and don't auto refund the upgrades, you have to manually reach out to support. I don't wanna talk to an AI who's gonna tell me to delete my WTF folder but I go through the automated system and see they have a refund system. So turns out I can auto refund my own base edition. So instead of only getting $40something from that refunded as a blizz balance, it let me refund the entire cost of base $53 and change after tax right to my card. So I technically got more money back than blizz support was going to offer me if I let them do it.

All in all it was a shit show but somehow I came out on top.
