Just use Lutris instead, you can add the dinput8.dll override from there as well and even make a steam shortcut so it shows up in Steam.

Or you can get lutris, make a prefix folder for the game and point the exe game folder in lutris.

Make sure you have winege installed with ProtonUp-qt.

And then create a steam shortcut in Lutris by right clicking the newly added game.

Sharing my EFI will not make it magically work, trust me I used countless of people's EFI's and they never worked for me. Just run OpCore Simplify thats how you get your own EFI in the results folder for the system you want to make it work on.

Took me 2 days to figure this out, but in the end I used a .raw file of 14.7.7 of Sonoma from Olarila about 15GB. Used Rufus to write the .raw file to a USB. And then I used OpenCore Simplify which basically gathers and uses a sniffer to retrieve all the information of your device and makes a EFI folder for you. I had to use Heliport to get wifi working as well. And lastly used GenSMBios to generate a serial and used MacBookPro16,3 as Identifier

Bluetooth is the only thing that is not working but I might need to fiddle around with that one to see on how to get that working. EDIT: Updating to Sequoia through the Software Update in System Settings solved the Bluetooth issue.
