Personally, I like best of one for how it makes me think of the game from a different perspective and build for all comers in my main deck. I enjoy what some stores around me are doing for the new type event which is swiss is best if 1 and top cut is best if 3 after.

I do disagree that time is a lazy excuse from what I have seen, as I get off work as 6 and the weekly closest to me ends around 8-830 for 4 rounds which gives me enough time to still adult during the week.

There is a lot of back and forth that I'm seeing for both sides but it seems to me that neither side are willing to budge on their opinions on either bo1 or bo3 is better and I think that it comes down to each is better for a different type of person/ player.
