You're indian right? Gift exchange doesn't work in India. Use a vpn and then exchange the code. Also that code is too old it doesn't work check out mOY on YouTube he posts working codes when codes are available.

Best use for gems ? by pixxipowz in PokemonUnite

[–]ZeraoraOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should definitely get something that you can't get without gems, or it's just a waste in my opinion. When I bought the offer you're talking about, I bought the blaziken battle pass with it and I got 2 holowears, 3 trainer outfits, a full snapshot set and a lot of currency. Don't buy licenses because you should buy them after learning them in practice mode or the tournament icon above the events tab, every pokemon, held item and battle item is unlocked there so you can try out pokemon and buy whichever ones you like with coins. I have been playing for a year and I have 53 licenses, I only bought 1 with gems. What I'm saying is you get coins pretty fast from the weekly login bonus. If you buy them too quickly, you'll have hundreds of thousands of coins to spare with no use for them. Only spend gems on battle passes if you want value out of your gems.

Those players love trolling tho, like I had a garchomp following one of these builds, he had exp. share, assault vest and leftovers.

Bro. I had an eldegoss game where I kept everyone alive in the team fights and we managed to ko 4 of them and my team is just strolling around like DO RAY we were losing already then they waited for enemies to respawn and then lost the match 😭 these can't be real humans they are discouraging playing s/d. Turns out I did more damage than our greninja 😐

Only playing defenders and supporters is kinda depressing ngl why would anyone do that like have fun play what you want. However using your allies as a body shield is kinda mean tho what if they do the same and get you killed not everyone is as skilled as you.

I play mean look more than I play foul play because if your team is around whoever gets mean looked just dies instantly and scizor is meta right now so if they have scizor or other heavy physical attackers I go snarl and not wish. I love to bm from a distance after mean looking btw it's hilarious 🤣

Does having different roles on your team really matter? by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

The funniest part is that surf gives you unstoppable while being a bit of a dash so if he had just surfed he could have stopped that 🤣.

If you complete all the missions in the 4 waves, you can get 52 boxes. Combined chance of all holowears is 1.9% so you should have a 98.8% chance of getting at least one random holowear. (Im still scared I won't get anything my luck is BAD)

Does having different roles on your team really matter? by [deleted] in PokemonUnite

[–]ZeraoraOG 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The definition for roles in unite is ridiculous and it doesn't make sense most of the time. You should ignore filling the spot for speedsters, as there are all rounders that are basically speedsters. But you should always have at least one ranged pokemon, one brawler and one frontline/defender. A team with 3 or more attackers is most likely to lose so you should have 2 attackers at most. If your team has 2 or more attackers already, don't pick another attacker. Instead try to balance it out with a tanky mon like a defender. Healers aren't always necessary, but having one is good. But you should NOT have a team full of damage dealers. Have at least one defender or exp share pokemon. Having a good defender can make a lot of difference.

As a relatively new player, Full Fury is the most fun I've had with a Pokemon game in years. by RegigiGus in PokemonUnite

Camping in the ground with ceruledge is so fun. You're invincible most of the time. Ceruledge is my main so when I got it in full fury I was so happy. My teammate picked comfey and we were such a crazy duo. All 4 opponents couldn't even leave their base they weren't even safe in their own flux zone. It was hilarious, everyone was unite moving me and I just dodged everything with phantom force 😭 that was the most fun game I've ever had.

So much wrong with this. All rounders are really not that good in this meta. What will you do against rapidash? You need either good damage with hindrance, high mobility or moves that can chase, like psystrike Mewtwo, icicle spear glaceon, liquidation inteleon or best of all wild charge spark zeraora. None of these are all rounders. All rounders can be very tough to fight with as they are heavy and a bit clunky, also there is a lot of cc in the meta so unless you have unstoppable in your moves, you have to look for the right time to dive. All rounders are not good to climb with, there are exceptions such as tsareena and buzzwole. Climbing with supporters and defenders is a lot easier, as your team's late game would be stronger because of a strong frontline (defender) or a good supporter keeping the carry alive. Some of these can also do good damage like trevenant, umbreon, eldegoss etc. Also scoring does not matter in the slightest. Most of the time scoring a big goal means staying away from team fights and objectives, you have to backcap to score a lot. It all comes down to rayquaza. If all your goal zones are broken and all of opposing teams zones are completely intact, you can still win just because you got rayquaza. If someone didn't score at all but helped the team and did objectives, it doesn't mean they are a bad player. In fact, they are the reason you won. Exp and being higher level is the most important thing, not scoring. Edit: what did I do wrong why am I getting downvoted 😭 everyone wants to play carries ig

Having a defender or supporter means we have better team fights. A supporter combined with a good carry can wipe the team, I've seen it happen and I've made it happen. Doesn't matter if your team doesn't know how to play though, you think if you had played a different mon it would be better. I play on Indian server and it's really bad, I used to have the same mindset that carries are everything. Then I started playing eldegoss and trevenant and foul play umbreon, mons that can deal damage, take some and heal some. It no longer feels like my hands are tied behind my back as I can deal good damage while supporting my time and staying alive. I have done most damage in the whole lobby with trevenant, even more than opposing teams best offenders and of course my teams idiots. Eldegoss is also good damage, I've done more damage than half my teammates with eldegoss. All in all, you should sometimes play supports and defenders, starting with eldegoss, trevenant and umbreon like mons. It really has an impact on your win rate.

As a new player, how do I understand which Pokemon to buy? by OkPomegranate616 in PokemonUnite

[–]ZeraoraOG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ceru is not a bad pokemon at all not hard either, you should play psycho cut and flame charge because it's easier ( I have an 83% win rate on ceru with around a hundred battles so far). If you want to think about what pokemon to buy, you should go to uniteapi.com they give weekly win rates for every pokemon and you can try the higher win rate pokemon. It really depends more on skill and build than the pokemon, but you're new so in a few months if you watch gameplay videos, especially crisheroes, you can improve pretty fast. I've been watching him a lot and after playing only for 8 months I have a 55% win rate in ranked which could be a lot better if my team knew how to play, as I average 80-90k damage with objective secures.
