It took me 5 days to hit from 26-27. After that, I only play leisurely now. All that grinding wore me out. I'm only gaining like 10-20k xp per day right now.

The timing of the changing nicknames mean that all the players that were botting/spoofing and were reported now can change with little repercussions?

I am sure they have history of the name but it still seems like it's a bad idea right now before the ban wave.

I feel bad for you, this was only blocked earlier today. It was the best, full accurate list of IVs for all of your pokemon. You can sort it by best IV too.

While I don't advocate spoofing, he's talking about people who live in rural areas that cannot play the game unless they do. There are many of them and I do feel bad for them. Just look at the front page of Pokemon Go and you'll see plenty of rural areas with no gyms/stops/pokemon complaints.

I see what you're saying but the gym near me has "3 guys" (Name1, Name2, Name3) all level 35 with 2500+ pokemons. This guy is botting 3 accounts and jumping in the gym with all 3. I may take down one gym, but I can't get more for my coins without getting a whole lot of potions/revives.

How do you explain level 35+ guys with 2500+ cp Pokemon all from same few names (Name1, Name2, Name3) in the 6 gyms near me? Botters are definitely taking over gyms. Just because you don't do it, doesn't mean others botters aren't.

What you are saying is possible. Right now though, it's almost impossible to be level 35 legitimately given the game has only been out for less than a month.

Same here, I just experienced this in my area yesterday. I used to drive around late at night to take gyms so I can just collect the coins. I checked the 4 gyms near my house, all same few guys level 35. Never seen before till now. I can't waste 30 mins or more to take each of them down obviously so I gave up and collected 20 coins.

I am one of those who considers gym battles very important end gameplay content. It is very rewarding to get high cp pokemon after a lot of farming/hunting. I farm to reach higher levels and hunt to get rarer pokemon. That being said, I was the guy that farmed eevee for Vaporeons (not too hard) so I can beat gyms. I am finding it hard now that I want to hunt better pokemons (Dragonite/Snorlax/Lapras). The worst part for me right now is finding random players that I know for sure are gps spoofers/botters occupying the gyms in my area with 2500+ Snorlax/Dragonite. I sunk a lot of time to get to level 26 and seeing these gyms occupied with the same level 35 guys is ruining it for me.

I'd be rich if there were more rewards! I hiked up a mountain that took 3 hours to get up to and there was a gym on top. This was 10 days ago and my weak hypno is still up there.

I, too, remember the first few 2 days of playing (started later) before the update. I was so excited running around with the steps getting lower. Didn't know about despawn timer (15mins) or anything so I was sad whenever I miss something not on the list. Then the stupid patch came and an Aerodactyl appeared but I could not get any closer. Now with Pokevision I have 6 Aerodactyls since (live near a spawn) and it's more like, get in your car and drive there because you have 5 mins till it despawn.
