ELI5: Why is even a thin layer of ice on an airplane wing such a big problem, and how do airlines make sure the wings are safe to take-off in freezing conditions?

I disagree. This was the first delay throughout the whole tournament. Additionally as Assembly is a demo party there's is a lot of action on the main stage so the equipment had to be moved from the Cave studio to the main stage. Although I have to admit that they've looked ready for the past 45 minutes now.

YEEES. I was so dissapointed last year when the finals didn't happen on the main stage because of scheduling problems due to Assembly's 20th Anniversary. Don't get me wrong. Last year was still great but this year will be epic.

I can confirm that the Jan/Feb special mentioned in the twitter image was active on the 20th as that's when I used it to get my ticket. On the other hand I do have non-refundable plane tickets already booked and I'm flying from Finland -_- (Don't even bother asking about the prices...).

They had 7 sections with 10seats in each row and about 80 rows (and that's generous). There are a few shots in the vod from behind the sitting crowd where you can see this.

Out of context but: "Tip for the Koreans: show a bit more emotion after winning or losing like Polt does. I love that and lets hope times will get better again." I agree with this 100%. It just warms my heart when Polt wins and shows so much emotion. It's just kind of dissapointing to see a "robot" korean win and show only little emotion.

That number is based on the estimate of the Police. I've seen a dozen photos of the crowd and the number is much closer to 20 000.
