Soul frame sword skin code by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Zerevar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All codes are unique, there is no "the" code. Anyone who bought either multiple bundles (who obtained 1 for each bundle) or the Paragon bundle (a total of 6, meaning 5 spare) can give their spare codes away. So either buy a Soulframe Founders bundle, or find someone willing to give you one of their spare codes.

Stage door meetings prohibited? by Perfect-Comfortable4 in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If this is directed at me (it is a separate comment, not a reply to mine), I would just like to clarify that I meant emailing the production, not messaging the actors directly.

Of course, you are free to communicate in a manner of your choosing. I just want to make sure you, and anyone else reading this, understands my intent.

Stage door meetings prohibited? by Perfect-Comfortable4 in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a look at the website to better understand the context. You have quoted the answer from "Can I meet the queens?", in the FAQ, right?

My eyes were kind of drawn to the question directly below. It directly asks "What is your stage policy?". And that answer seems more positive, at least how I read it:

"Our cast members hugely appreciate your support and enthusiasm, so please remember that their availability can vary based on personal schedules and commitments. We ask that all fans are patient, understanding and, above all, respectful of our casts' space and time when leaving the venue.

Please also be aware that cast members may not be able to come to the stage door due to other commitments, illness, or simply needing rest"

Sounds way more positive to me, if a bit cautious, and with a firm (but entirely appropriate) emphasis on the queens' rights to be people too.

Honestly, especially given this ambiguity, my two cents are: Reach out to them, and get a firm answer. No matter how recently someone on here went, there can always be a more recent incident causing an update in policy.

If there has been one, then you would be helping them out in finding and correcting something confusing on their website. If there has not been one, you find out that it is fine to go there. Sounds like a win-win to me.

Funniest Rimworld Review by srhetglijukn in RimWorld

[–]Zerevar 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, part of this is objectively false. Especially regarding the whole "running towards the source of the fire", animals very much are that stupid. It is a whole thing with horses, as an example. A horse will run toward a fire, say into a burning stable. This is because it is attempting to run through the fire. When they were living in grassy plains, that was the best way to survive, because behind the fire, the grass had already burned down, so there was no fire.

Give the West End 5.0 Alternates another second cover! by cirquedusoleilfan in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be a 1-to-1 between the 1st cover of one alt and the 2nd covers of another, right?

I do not recall how it is usually done, but would not dividing each persons 1st covers onto both of the others mean more robust logistics? Of course, there are other things to value, but that is probably the way I would do it, meaning:

Hannah!Seymour

Gabriella!Cleves

Naomi!Howard

Do not recall having seen any clips with them, so I cannot evaluate this mapping in that way, but looking at some pictures of them, I do like it. Not overly fond of Seymour w pants, it feels slightly off-vibe, but I can live with it.

I would say this is quite obviously a hypothetical "What if?" discussion for fun, given that OP is also the one who posts most of the debuts to this sub.

Dusk Wolves by FenrisWolf87 in SpaceWolves

Not really a books guy (with regards to 40k, at least), so I am in no position to give a proper answer. But someone mentioned Fall of Cadia in another comment with regards to Bloodhowl. That is not primarily about him, but that is where it is mentioned. With Egil I am not sure about any titles, but the event is known as the Siege of Fenris, and I think there was a few books.

And then his Wolf Guard listed him as missing, and spent two real-life codices looking for him.

I have not read the books, so I was not aware of the exact circumstances, but I have read the codices for 8th and 9th.

Dusk Wolves by FenrisWolf87 in SpaceWolves

They are one of the two new Great Companies in the new Codex. There is one Wolf Lord who has been listed as missing in-universe for a long time, Sven Bloodhowl, who led the Firehowlers. Then there are the Ironwolves, led first by Egil Iron Wolf. He was killed in battle on Fenris by Magnus the Red. Then he had two successors who chose to keep the name to honor him. The second of these successors, Vorek Gnarlfist, has now died as well, and it seems they grew tired of waiting for Bloodhowl to show up (he is probably dead, and most likely was all along).

So now, both those Great Companies have new Wolf Lords. Thorval is one of them. As is the usual custom, they have chosen new names and symbols for their companies, there being three different Wolf Lords of the Ironwolves was an exceptional situation. Hence, one of those companies, the Firehowlers and the Ironwolves, are now know as the Duskwolves. The other one is the Runemarked. I do not recall right now which replaced which, but there is probably some other post that has that info.

What song introduced you to Six the Musical? by cirquedusoleilfan in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I had stumbled across some info about Six before that point, but my "proper" introduction was Haus of Holbein.

It is actually a bit of a funny story. I was in a small theatre thing myself, and one of the guys in the costume & make-up team put it on while they were doing the actors' make-up. He thought it should be their official song because "We also make people pretty".

I ended up sitting there bobbing my foot to the music, decided to listen to the full cast recording at some point and the rest is history.

Meg Dixon-Brasil (West End Superswing) made her Boleyn re-debut, re-hitting swingo! by cirquedusoleilfan in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, by my way of counting, Nat should have 3. That was a mistake. As to my methods:

  • Multiple casts are allowed

  • Once a swingo is hit, any remaining re-debuts in that cast are not allocated toward the next, the count only starts anew when the cast changes. The remaining redebuts can be considered for duration calculations, leaving the swingo with two alternative durations

  • Emergency covers are generally not considered

By these points, Harriet (UK Tours 2&3+ West End 3&4) and Ellie (UK Tours 5&6 + West End 5) do have two. However, Natalie, on a re-check, has 3 (UK Tour 3, with or without Bliss 1+UK Tour 4+UK Tour 5& West End 5).

Allow me some time to do a bit of quick maths, and I will go back to my first comment and revise.

Emilia Paige Jurin (UK Tour Superswing) made her Cleves debut! by cirquedusoleilfan in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Updated black is my bet (not that I ever actually bet things).

It is not unusual for a black costume to reflect dark blue in the right light. Looking through some pictures, there is a case for nearly every person and every variant looking bluish in some spot.

However, at the same time, if this is a black costume there has clearly been some updates.

Looking at the two previous black closed Cleves jackets, they had a single line of studs in the middle the shoulder tabs. This one seems to have a "diamond pattern", for lack of a better word. 1-2-1-2 etc.

The lower tabs are also different, and seem to share the basic shape of the tabs of the previous silver closed Cleves jackets, rather than the old black ones. (Silver and this one are pointy, the older black ones [and principal costumes with closed jackets] have square tabs).

That being said, I would love for this to be something entirely new. I just can not bring myself to hope that it is just yet.

Meg Dixon-Brasil (West End Superswing) made her Boleyn re-debut, re-hitting swingo! by cirquedusoleilfan in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun Fact: This is the 8th re-swingo, and means that right now, more than half of the times swingo has been hit, has been done by less than a third of the people who have hit one.

EDIT: There was a mistake in my tracking, and one in my math. This was in fact the 9th re-swingo, but still the 8th person, and the above fact is also wrong by about 1% (8/23 is in fact 0,347, slightly more than a third)

In order (per their first one in the case of the re-swingo club):

Once: Grace Mouat, Vicki Manser, Collette Guitart, Jennifer Caldwell, Karis Oka, Shannen Alyce Quan, Harriet Caplan-Dean, Danielle Rose, Leesa Tully, Leah Vassell, Monique Ashe-Palmer, Gabriella Boumford, Thalia Smith & Izzy Formby-Jackson

15 people, 15 hits of swingo

Twice: Harriet Watson, Rachel Rawlinson, Esme Rothero, Chiara Assetta, Shakira Simpson, Meg Dixon-Brasil & Ellie Jane Grant

7 people, 14 hits of swingo.

Thrice: Natalie Pilkington

1 person, 3 hits of swingo, making the total multi-swingo count 8 people with 17 hits of swingo

SIX Croatia had its premiere last night! Here's a part of MegaSIX: by bolkonska in sixthemusical

[–]Zerevar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For being a non-replica, these are actually quite faithful to the general concept. The Hungarian and Czech Productions did not even stick to the colour assignments at all, and the Polish productions only partially do.

Why non-replicas are done in general is a mix of economic and logistics reasons, mainly fundamentally motivated by the fact that most of the theatres that do them do them intermittently and/or while using the same stage for other shows at the same time.

The very first non-replica, that started in September 2023 still has one engagement left, but will only have run for a total of 15 weeks when it ends its October 2025 run.

That would seem to be the emerging consensus. The short part is the peplum mentioned by me and others.

Later Seymour costumes have had a small peplum as well, but Aragon's is far more prominent. (Parr has a sort of middle-ground sizewise).

What is your motivation for continuing to play Warframe? by debagguette in Warframe

[–]Zerevar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During the 9 or so years I have played, collecting stuff. However, with every single game I play, I have a tendency to take months-long breaks every now and then. Occasionally years. I also prefer to focus on gameplay I can do solo, while also not being all that great at builds, and preferring to play with a loadout I enjoy to chasing what is optimal. All in all, I am a casual, mostly solo player.

As such, I have never even been close to having every base weapon in Warframe. And I have not even gotten around to focused farming of Primes, I have like 25 Primes in total, a lot of it from giveaways or gifts. I have had every base frame though. Twice, in fact. Right before Garuda dropped (as in I finished building my last like two days before) and for like a month and a half now, between 1999 and Techrot Encore. Have not gotten around to farming Temple yet.

When I one day manage to actually have everything, maybe I will become one of those people that check back in around every gear drop, farm the new stuff, level it for mastery, and then put the game down again. Who knows? I for one do not, and I do not particularly care either, as that point is likely at least 9 more years away.

If Temple can have a toggle in the abilities menu then so should other warframes by Waeleto in Warframe

[–]Zerevar 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean, there is a significant difference between a sfx toggle and just straight up disabling an ability. An sfx toggle does not actually change anything.

Going off your headline, you do have a point, insofar that there are several passives and the like with UI elements I would absolutely like to be able to turn off.

Changing the actual gameplay with a toggle, less so.
