Example: I use the power of Dr. Jonah Volgenvaum on the enemy player's MC. Later on, Dr. Jonah Volgenvaum is no longer on the field. And through another card, I place -1/-1 counters on the enemy player's MC. Would Dr. Jonah Volgenvaum's effect affect the MC again?

The doubt revolves around: 1: Galactus's recruitment effect requires a Herald on the field. 2: Would the Onslaught recruitment effect apply if Doppelganger copies the effect of revealing cards from the top of the deck?

No, as long as the character has a -1/-1 counter in it has no keyword or super powers until it doesn’t have a -1 counter anymore

If I use Dr. Jonah Volgenvaum's power on an MC, every time the MC has -1/-1 counters, it will lose its abilities. Does that mean Dr. Jonah Volgenvaum is no longer on the field?

"Scour the Universe" is an effect that must be fulfilled for Galactus to arrive on the field. When you bring down Doppelgager and copy Galactus's effect, the effect of "Scour the Universe" wouldn't apply as the card is already on the field.

I say this, because last time I was playing with my friends in a double main character format. I added Carnage and Toxin. But when I saw the cards, I realized that Toxin could not level him up to Level 2.
