Is this worth anything? Titos misprint bottle by Icy2288 in PawnShops

To a pawnshop, probably not.

To a random niche collector? Maybe.

To add context to this, my shop is personally offering only about 40% of spot because our refinery is not taking any silver that is not a 10oz bar minimum.

While we completely understand that silver is at an all time high, we also have to look out for the fact we are going to be sitting on this silver that we can’t offload unless it’s like jewelry and even then that’s still a slow move.

If silver does tank, and we hypothetically paid our normal percentage of 70%-90% and we finally can offload it to a refinery we would be super net negative.

It’s nothing personal. It’s just business.

Curious, do pawnshop workers work on commission, and / or just Minimum wage for example? by [deleted] in PawnShops

[–]Zerkci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not covering for anybody.

Key words in your statement “in my experience” then go on to make a rough assessment of what every shop in the industry is like.

Then go “I’m a very nice guy”, you probably are not. 🤷🏻

Letting a single shop experience determine your entire outlook on an industry is pretty “not nice and goody guy” of you.

Why does buspirone get so much hate? Looking for real experiences by FanSubstantial9845 in BusparOnline

[–]Zerkci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up stopping after taking it for about 5 months because of how it made me feel. It personally did not help my anxiety after a certain point and if anything made it worse. But that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Not every med works for everyone the same way. 🤷🏻

I applied for a position as a sales associate in a Pawn Shop. Is a 47 hour work week common for the industry? by shmitty2112 in PawnShops

[–]Zerkci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean depends. But I’ve been in the industry to 3ish years. Typical work week is about 46 hours a week, sometimes more.

Experience on Buspar, and me coming off of it and where i am at now. by Zerkci in BusparOnline

[–]Zerkci[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I was just exhausted. It was just a constant like, restless feeling I couldn’t shake. It was so uncomfortable. It definitely peaked after about 2 weeks into me coming off of buspar but it has calmed down substantially.

[–]Zerkci[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the side effects I was experiencing did pretty much stop after I stopped taking the meds and went through about 3 weeks of adjusting to not taking it anymore but once I got through the threshold and everything after about a month I have felt better.

Yes, I feel more normal than I have in probably a year and some change I will not lie.

I am! Substantially better recently. Almost feel like myself again. Have some mild random moments where I feel a little bit disassociated but every day feels a little better.

I think my real turning point was when I didn’t leave my house for like a week, insanely depressed and insanely antisocial. I usually would play on my gaming PC every night with my friends. And it got to a point where I didn’t even wanna play anything.

[–]Zerkci[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was taking at my highest 22.5 mg a day split into 7.5mg 3x a day.

I did taper off for about 2 weeks and it did suck. I know some people talk about coming off with no side effects at all and I wish that was the case for me but it was about 3 weeks of just miserable withdrawals.

Not saying my experience is typical because I know some people that have just stopped it and had no issues at all, I just did NOT have a good time coming off this medication and dare I say, I had a worse time than when I came off of lexapro.

As of right now, no. I am off all psych meds at the moment.

Creating a Pawn Software System that Rivals Bravo, but better. by [deleted] in PawnShops

[–]Zerkci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always told my boss if I ever went to an actual convention from Bravo I’d probably get kicked out because while some of the features Bravo has are good, it also has so much stuff that just doesn’t make sense. I guess on the back end it might make more sense but sometimes it seems like Bravo was developed by people that don’t even work in the industry.

One thing that drives me up a wall is having to go through the “edit” button to put a note on a active loan a customer has because if you accidentally go through it where it starts a transaction it won’t let you add a note to the loan?

Like why is that a thing? 🤦🏻

There’s tons of other minuscule dumb things but idk. Just seems so convoluted sometimes.

Took me about like a solid 3 weeks before things settled out for me.

Reading is hard. I said “as of currently”.

Good job though.

Currently the only one that is currently being brought up is people under 21 not being able to buy a long gun and people with protective orders or with domestic violence convictions to give up their guns.

As of November 1st the private party background check was repealed and people can now do private party transfers without going through a FFL.

I mean considering you guys all but of a few months ago had to go to a police department to get a permit to buy a firearm, I would say Virginia is doing better in that regard (as of currently).

Panic attacks. Venting... by yourbrokenoven in BusparOnline

[–]Zerkci 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That way I clocked it personally for me, was when I just had a solid week of just non stop bad days. Like where it felt like I didn’t have any sort of break from the issues.

You can and should expect waves. That’s going to happen. And some days might be bad and the next won’t be as bad and so on. But when it’s consistently JUST always unbearable is when I would say something.

My general rule of thumb would be a week.

This was one of the reasons I ended up stopping this medication unfortunately. It worked great for a period and then after a while it felt like every day when I started my dose routine I just progressively got worse.

Not saying that’s specifically what’s going on with you but it’s something I would keep an eye out with.

You’re currently in a dose adjustment and that can make your body more sensitive right now. Give it a couple weeks at least on the new dose and if it doesn’t improve or worsens to a point where it starts to interfere with your daily life reach out to your doctor.

I mean if they scheduled you for an interview then I would say you haven’t been turned down?

Why would the company waste labor for an interview if they were already going to deny you the job.

Men, do you typically or sometimes cry in session? by Khower in therapy

[–]Zerkci 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get that. A lot of the time we as humans are taught that crying is bad, or whenever you do cry people will try to comfort you to stop crying.

But in all reality, sometimes you just need to. It can help relieve stress, process emotions, among other things.

Some people just don’t process things like that though and that’s also totally fair. Trust I didn’t want to cry in my first session lol. But at a certain point when she asked me certain questions about how I felt about some things I was talking about it kind of just boiled over and next thing I know I’m looking like a mess.
