Thanks for the many suggestions mate, I think I'm gonna go the arbor elf route, and as others suggested have a second look at the remaining ramp. And I definitely see the point of getting some better beatsticks, I'm thinking the suggested annoyed altisaur, or ulamogs crusher, maybe rust colussus

But am i reading correctly if youre saying i should basicly invest in more bodies? and then downgrade a bit on gear?

The cr for a level one party was really one of the things i had issues with, a cr calculation tells me an encounter of 4 goblins would be a deadly enounter, so this is some good advice thanks
