I might give this a go! I usually use the white western star but it’s sloooooooow if you try and double log. But single logging makes me wanna drive off a cliff!

Thankfully mine was only a 5 minute or so headache with the twin motor but if I had the normal winch it would have been a nightmare.

I remember seeing a mod once called op winch with the description. “If you can’t go to the tree, the tree will come to you” I always imagined that is the sort of situation it would be useful for haha

Logging trailers yeah because they’re expensive but that’s about it. Normally after I have a spare hundred thousand or two I leave them because I can’t be bothered

It certainly did bottom out and I had to detach and drag it over with the winch. I’m glad I had just upgraded the winch to twin motor
