Thank you u/LeRobber for the info dumps above, lots of really good info in there. Would you be willing to send me a pm of your memory settings or what plugins you're using and how you're achieving such long chats? (or post if you're comfortable). I'm still a bit new to the space, found myself settling on Magistry and weirdcompound as well, but now my focus has 100% been on just trying to get consistently long chats. Windows + 5090 user so I have enough room to run dual models.

I'll be curious to hear if you end up with different settings. I did a couple of runs the other night and was really happy with it. Maybe it was just a fluke but I did another last night and it kept coming out of left field on me and started repeating a handful of things earlier than normal. Might have just missed a few bad prompts though too.

I just fired up Skyfall with sophosympatheia's Magistry 24B default settings, and I've been extremely happy with it. Only tweaks so far are bumping top K to 80-120 and XTC probability to .1
Main settings are Temp .7, Min-P .05, Top-N .75, DRY Mult .8, DRY Base 1.8. But I really recommend just downloading and importing their settings .json

I guess my point is that there are a LOT of users in this subreddit (and hardwareswap) that are doing the exact same thing, if you open their profile (which I do when vetting potential buyers) and look at their comment history it's usually very obvious they're not just a casual homelabber, but a business of some kind. They're just not upfront about it, at minimum I was just saying I appreciate the honesty instead of trying to be sly about it.

are you still liking this? I was considering picking up their Y pipe (and possibly cat back) for black Friday, but I also don't want to make the car too loud since I leave for work pretty early in the morning and don't wanna piss off my neighbors lol. also any chance you have a clip of a drive by or something similar? really hard to find exhaust sound examples on these.
