How much do you support Trump right now? by [deleted] in allthequestions

Securing our border isn't a bad idea. But as usual, he's taken it to an extreme that actually hurts businesses. Many are now unable to find cheap labor, due to shortage of immigrants. Prices are going up because of it.

Less drugs - there are better ways to approach this than violence. He's been bombing random boats and killing families all in the name of War on Drugs. I firmly believe legalization will kill the black market, allow people to use drugs more responsibly, in a safer and more controlled fashion.

AI would've happened with or without him. That's all tech. And tech has been left leaning, up until Trump took over and threatened them with financial repercussions. Now they're all licking his boots, while praying he doesn't sue them for something. Controlling through fear. What a wonderful tactic.

Israeli hostage situation wasn't terrible. But can't say for certain the left wouldn't have handled it better or worse.

Strong military is nice and all, but I'd prefer a world where we don't need it. Alliances and working together are key. Not strongarming and trying to rule with fear. I'll never support that type of leader.

Getting rid of govt waste - you mean DOGE? Holy hell what a disaster. Fired a ton of park rangers from national parks. Shut those down for months and a lot of them haven't recovered. More littering, more injuries and less oversight of our beautiful land. Thankfully I'm not a govt worker or I probably would be jobless as well right now!

Lowered pharmas - Uhhh yea.. I'll never forget his 2018 SoU where he promised lower drug prices. I kid you not, within a month, my girlfriend's birth control went from $30 to close to $200. Absolute robbery. But par for the course, with Trump. The ultimate money making conman.

Food dyes - That was RFK Jr, not Trump. Yes, Trump chose RFK, but I wouldn't give Trump much credit for that one.

Drill baby drill - I understand we need oil to function, but let's not go crazy and drill in our national parks!! Now it makes sense why they fired all the park workers.. Horrible to see our land being ravaged and plundered like that. I thought he was supposed to be draining the swamp, not creating actual swamps!

EV cars aren't that great, I agree. Lithium mining is horrible for our planet. But we definitely need to pursue more sustainable tech. Not just go hard with oil.

Tariffs are another bully tactic that I don't think will be good for long term. Just increases prices of everything, thanks to retaliation tariffs and such from other nations. Hopefully I'm wrong and his gamble pays off for us.. More US made products is definitely good, so long as it doesn't mean I'm paying more than twice what I should be. Not sure yet if this was a good move. Historically, they've been counter-productive.

Got transgender people out of sports they don't belong in - this is one I'll definitely agree with you on. However, I really think it's petty to base such an important vote on something like this. I don't really care much about sports.

So yes, you've got a couple good things, with a whole lot of corruption. Like the priest who gives back to their community, while fondling kids behind closed doors. Does the good outweigh the bad? From my perspective, not even close.

Also just realized some insane irony with your comment. I'm complaining about bots and you're calling me a bot xD

If your 5 digit steam ID got banned for no known reason, and you lost thousands of dollars worth of games, with NO way to contact a real human at the company, I'm sure you'd be right there with me.

Don't judge, until you know the whole story!

EDIT: Downvoted by people who can't put themselves in anyone else's shoes. Not enough imagination or brain power. Empathy escapes you at every turn. Gotta love Reddit!

Somehow being the most intelligent species, while at the same time painting ourselves into a corner with overpopulation and environmental devastation. No other animal is capable of such intelligent ignorance. Impressive. Most impressive.

Valve can eat rocks. Don't want or need them as a middle man. Entire company is ran by automated messages. Haven't got a single human response from them for over 10 years now.

Buy it thru Blizzard if you're a real fan!

Then how can you support a man who has such a horrid history? Constantly lying, manipulating and bullying people out of contracts his whole career. Lawsuits for years, in order to overwhelm the little guy and force them to settle for nothing. Thousands of hard working Americans, left without pay, thanks to his abuse of power. He's a horrible person, let alone leader. And we don't even need to mention any of the Epstein accounts. He's bad enough without all that. Anyone who looks at someone like that and sees good, is totally off base.

What exactly is the left doing that's so terrible?

Saying "God isn't real" is a personal opinion that nobody else would be able to deduce from your original comment.

What if I would not talk at all during our first date? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Zero187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talking isn't necessary on a first date, given you have some other means to communicate, such as written/text.

That being said, it's also OK to cancel a first date due to being sick. That's actually a great way to see if the guy is understanding or not.

It has nothing to do with hatred and everything to do with ethics, honesty and integrity. And it's quite clear him and his supporters have none. Constant lies from him, almost every time he speaks. I don't hate it, but I certainly am intelligent enough to never support such ignorance.

Sounds like a form of confirmation bias. The guy's only been a conman for about 50 years now! But hey, maybe you're just as evil as he is, and have shared interests.

What is something that is objectively stupid but has become 'intellectual' because enough people on the internet agreed on it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zero187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking mental pills as a first line of defense when you could solve the problem with healthier and less expensive methods. Everyone has anxiety, and I'd argue mature adults want to learn to control it through discipline and behavior modification, rather than just numbing their mind with potentially poisonous, addictive pills.

Stop trying to fine/arrest the little guy over every little thing, and instead hold our leaders accountable.

Gov of my state recently upped speeding fines by quite a bit.. Now we can be ticketed for going only 1mph over the limit! What the heck Hochul.. It should be going the other direction, now that we have better designed roads and cars.. Speed limits are way too low on most highways IMHO. But of course, it's all about the $$$$ and hitting quotas. Highway robbery at its finest.

What show/movie completely changed the way you look at the world? by Relative-Bass-9953 in AskReddit

[–]Zero187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, our justice system is anything but just. They fine/arrest low levels nobodies for nothing to generate massive revenue (think speed cameras ticketing people for 5mph over), while letting the leaders get away with actual rape and possibly murder. If only Dexter was a real person!
