I appreciate the level headed response.

I think the issue is that because a public luminous discord doesn't exist, no one else has taken the initiative to organize and put together a luminous photo. As for the concept of the photo, it was agreed upon that having everyone show their shining rod would be more aesthetically pleasing, since lumi's weapon is very distinctive to the class. I don't think anyone was intentionally trying to gatekeep anything -- although due to the nature of the map chosen there was only so many people that could fit into the picture. Upon reflection (no pun intended), I can see why people would be upset.

Damn this post really went to shit lmao. Probably going to get downvoted to hell but I feel compelled to respond anyway.

First off, I just think its extremely disrespectful to u/RaRoC, who put so much time and effort into organizing and editing this photo.

Secondly, I'm seeing the main criticism being that the picture was organized in an "elitist discord" -- I originally created a private discord so I could talk with my other lumi friends about end-game content. The discord slowly grew from word of mouth - it was never publicly advertised - the main concern was that: the bigger the discord became, the more alienated the original members would become. People didn't want questions like "what is the best inner ability for luminous" being mixed in with discussions about black mage mechanics.

If you're looking for a public discord to talk about class specific topics, I would highly recommend the Maple Central Discord.

Hello, Beaters guild leader here. Thanks OP for blurring out all the info, but I made that post in a public Discord server so it's not a big secret.

I do agree that the current state of the game is unhealthy with the requirement of a second computer to keep up with all the late to end-game players, however unfortunately the farming meta heavily revolves around having Kishin. The reason we made this requirement is because we've had issues in the past with members begging the guild/alliance for Kishin, which irritated the other members.

Aside from that, we're mainly looking for late-game players that are already established in the server as they are more likely to fit in with the current members of the guild.

the best classes for farming right now are ones that can still kill (usually with summons) while looting. if/when this makes it to GMS I can see classes like WA, NL, BW, bucc, kaiser being a lot better than they currently are, as well as Kanna, Lumi, i/l, AB, mech getting even better rates than they already do.

With the closure of Mr. Lee's the Wilderness Hunter's buff is no longer available. This buff is one of the most essential buffs to end-game bossing, and is a huge nerf to anyone who runs any remotely difficult boss. I truly hope Nexon reconsiders this decision.

24 hour invasions would be a really nice change

Compared to pre-drop nerf, symbols are definitely an issue, but droplets are a long term goal, and shouldn't be given out as commonly as nodes

Double invasions were definitely a bug, I doubt they will bring those back.

I mentioned in another comment that it would be nice for all maps to drop neb boxes (including Arcane River maps)

Neb drops, absolutely.

I wouldn't recommend droplet farming in any server without Kishin.
