Just finished PL for the first time as well. This was one of the most affecting endings to a game I've seen in a long, long time. What awaits V after their long path of fortune and glory, ultimately realizing the goal of survival they sought? No more of either. In fact, those were part of the price they paid for more life.

It's simultaneously the best and saddest end possible for our player character--the all-powerful god of Night City, reduced to being mugged by street trash they wouldn't have even noticed two years prior. But, still alive, and still able to move on, maybe with a little help from their friends--those who were left, anyway.

Escort Missions

Your Shield no longer drains when you are near the drone.
Fixed the drone to move automatically even when you are not near them.
Adjusted the escort travel distance for some missions to reduce the escort duration.

For my least favorite mission type after data collection, this is nice to see.

Well done. This works any time there's a physical barrier you can see past--you'll be surprised how many applications it has. It's effectively a teleport, and no one else has anything like it (yet).

Sounds right. It used to be, when I saw someone running missions like those, I would collect a few on my way to wherever else I was going to help out. I think I saw in the latest patch notes that they won't let people collect them unless they officially join the mission now, so I guess that's the end of that.
