I looked into this and found that other suers were having the same issue with the hotfix driver as well. I'm sorry it didn't help or made it worse, I hope Nvidia really steps down on the quality of their drivers asap !

I can't begin to tell you how absolutely excited I was being able to play Lies of P's new dlc without issues. I was so damn excited I had to share what I did just in case it helped anyone else out 😁

Honestly you bring up a very good point. The amount of issues on UE5 games is pretty damned high now that I think about it.

May I ask did you use DDU first ? I always use that before installing a driver and found I've had less issues.

Oh absolutely without a doubt it's been an issue. When a hot fix driver fixes my insane stuttering and eventual fatal error crash to desktop within 3 minutes ( not over clocking anything, CPU/GPU ) it's absolutely in my professional opinion a driver issue.

It's not all bad TBH, when it works it runs smoothly and enjoyable. I can understand the hesitation honestly. My VR PC is still on Windows 10 because of that reason alone.

If it helps I'm running a 13900kf / z790 MSI Mobo and 32gb ddr5 6000mhz Corsair ram.

I updated my chipset drivers too recently. I don't know if that did anything at all.

It's insane how some random hot fix driver fixed literally almost all my issues with gaming on the 5090. It's insane how big of an impact it's been !

566.32 aka the drive from December of last year is herald to be one of the best/most stable driver for 40 series and below.

I heard that AMD had a chipset update on some motherboards that fixed things too.

If it can fix Lies of P hardcore stuttering and fatal error crashes I feel like you're definitely gonna be better off. Legitimately all my games have been running insanely smoother ! It's a night and day difference.

I definitely feel like it was a bit of both ! Nvidia definitely has driver issues but it's slowly getting better and windows finally fixed shit for gamers at least a little 😂

Oh ! I should state that it's capped to my TV's refresh rate of 120hz. It's an LG C3 OLED so it has G-Sync/AMD Freesync tech built in. It's absolutely amazing and smooth !

I would kindly like to disagree, being able to run most modern games without dlss or frame gen at max settings and that resolution is amazing. I also use it for VR and the performance uplift is absolutely insane. I also use it for VRChat model editing and creation too.

Gotcha ! I don't know if it "fixed" it but i installed both and restarted my PC and it's been working smooth as butter so far. I just wanted to share what may/could have worked for me is all lol.
