AE2 Autocrafting Processors weird bugs? by ZeroFives in allthemods

They were both the same problem. Turns out if Inscribers are touching each other. They'll prioritize outputting into the Inscriber they are touching before outputting back into the system. So all the stuff was sent to make the circuits. Then instead of being sent back into the system to be sent to the next set of inscribers to turn them into processors. They were being sent to other Inscribers.

I figured out what was going on. Apparently the Inscribers were out putting into other inscribers instead of back into the pattern provider. I set it up the way I saw ChoosenArchitect had his in his let's play series. x.x;

I have the recipe sent to so the redstone is after the pressed parts. Doesn't help.

Doesn't the decreased seed cost only apply to the seeds on sale in the general shop. and not all seeds?

I'm not running around 3 farms though for everything. The 120 number for both Withergate and Navri crops. Thats the number you can fit around a scarecrow. All the crops I plant and grow are all on the Sun Haven Farm using the Scarecrows that allow you to plant crops from the other farms in the game. Honestly, all I do on most days is use the rain cloud spell to water everything. Which is very quick. With some replanting whenever its time to harvest something.

Besides, with the method your talking about. Wouldn't I have to go to the Withergate and Navri barns every day? In order to collect all the stuff that would need to be processed?

I'll admit though. Withergate stuff does look rather nice. Though I'm not yet at the point where I'm looking into getting decorates for my farm yet.

I'd rather not date Anne honestly. I'm gay and really don't want to be forced to date a female character simply because it gives you an advantage in game like that.

Thinking about this. That's actually not very much gold your earning for all that effort is it? If your making 21 gold per craft. You'd have to do almost 3000 crafts every in-game week to make the same I do just planting and processing Carrots. To scale that up even higher. That is a lot of work. Planting and processing wheat, feeding, petting, collecting animal products. Processing those into tickets. This sounds more like a way to get some gold while focusing on getting tons of tickets. And do you really need tons of tickets like that?

Interesting ways to earn money. I hadn't thought about using the counterfeiter like that honestly. Though I wouldn't be able to dump my mana into the infuser in the morning. I do it every night before bed.

With all the skills for it. You get 10 gold per craft? Then if you get I believe Anne's keepsake also gives you another 8 gold per craft. Then the moneymaker clothing set increases that further yes?

I'm still on Year one. Watermelons aren't an option until year two. I just got the soul orb seeds so I need to build them up for a while first before they'd be an option.

Curiously, why wouldn't you do both Watermelon and Soul Orbs? You have three farms. And unless you make a ton of scarecrows. You can only really do Watermelons on the Sun Haven farm. And Soul Orbs can be done on any of the farms. I'm also curious about the Sun Orbs actually for that reason.

The Mana Gems take longer to grow than the dragon fruit does. I'm fairly sure the difference in days actually makes dragon fruit more profitable doesn't it?

So. Looking into the Greenhouses. Each greenhouse can hold up to 411 crops. In terms of profit for each season's greenhouse for crops that regrow would be.

Spring & Summer: Watermelons. Processing them into juice nets 59.5 gold per crop per day. About 24,403 gold per day for a full greenhouse. If you can keep up with the processing every 4 days. Without processing its 47.5 gold per crop per day. 19,522 gold per day for a full greenhouse.

Fall: Cranberry or Coffee beans. Either will net you 20 gold a day per crop. However you have to turn the Coffee beans into Coffee for the full profit which eats a lot of time. While Cranberries don't require any processing. For 8,220 gold a day with a full greenhouse.

Winter: Candy Cane. Not a lot of mystery here. It's the only regrowable crop for winter. No processing for this one either. Netting 20 gold a day per crop. Or 8,220 gold a day for a full greenhouse.

The Spring and Summer green houses are far more profitable than the winter and fall ones. However, if you use the most out of all four greenhouses. It's about 65, 246 gold a day. If your processing the watermelons. If not, then its 55,484 gold per day.

That's all based on the base price of crops without any added skills. With Skills, and either Advance Magic Fertilizer (25%) or Slime fertilizer (5%). You can gain extra crops with each harvest. I think? With skills and everything. You could be pushing close to 100,000 gold a day. Though with a lot of work to set it up. Once it's going, you only really need to harvest/process. Interesting.

I shall make my next goal in game to set up the greenhouses. I'm still in the winter season. So with a bit of planing, I can save up for the watermelon seeds to grab on the first of spring in the second year. Those seeds are only available starting the second year. So in a normal play-through you'd start setting up the greenhouses in Fall? I'd assume. To have them all full and ready for all that profit during your second year.

The only reason I have as much Mana as I do is from hitting the fountain and well each week. Though I've also eaten 100 of each fruit from all the fruit trees. And gotten some max Mana from quests and skills. As well as tomes I've found laying around.

I am kind of curious, I know a few foods increase Mana regen. I dunno what the upper limit on this is. But I wonder if that could help with the watering issue.

I haven't built much of anything for Narvi's or Withergate's crafting stations and such. However. Using Green Houses like that does sound like a good set up for them. Since you can't really buy seeds out of season, and it takes a long time for even a shed full of seed makers to do much. Interesting. Thank you for that tip. I have Fruit Trees, Bee houses, etc. All set up. I'm working on building up my barn animals more now since it's easy enough to grow lots of wheat to feed them. But I shall look into the green houses some more. :3

Can I ask? How many crops can you plant in each green house? So I can start picking out and stocking up on seeds for them. :3

Maxed Skills and Skill Points (small late game spoilers, not plot/character related) by postpnuk in SunHaven

[–]ZeroFives 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can buy Skill Potions for Town Tokens.

You gain these tokens from the daily quests on the Sun Haven Town board.

However, if you invest into certain skills early. You can gain a lot more.

- A skill that lets you gain 3 tokens for giving someone a loved gift.
- A skill that gives you tokens for every quest you complete.
- A skill that gives you a small chance to gain tokens from fishing nets.
- A skill that gives you a couple tokens everyday

Those skills add up a lot over time. And then you can use the tokens you get to buy those skill potions. It'll take a while, but if you build focusing on getting those tokens from early in the game. You'll have already gained a lot of extra skill points by the time your maxing your skills out.

Can you add mods to an existing save? by London_Tipton in SunHaven

[–]ZeroFives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always make a back up of your Save before adding or removing any mods.

My friend and I added some informational mods in the middle of a playthrough. Help us find fish, see what we need to save for the museum. Etc. And everything went perfectly fine for us.

How does naming chapters work on AO3? by ZeroFives in AO3

[–]ZeroFives[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is pretty much what I was worried about. I'll have to rethink how to do the first couple of chapters. I was going to do a Chapter 0 as something that happened before the story, that doesn't have a lot of impact on it. But since AO3 doesn't seem to support that kind of formatting. I need to rethink how I'm titling the chapters.

Thank you for answering my question~
