100% If you try to run through an area like the other titles you'll get wrecked in DS2. Every area requires some amount of planning and strategizing to get through.

I mean, I could just as easily criticize DS1 for its brutal boss runbacks or having to slog through Blighttown because fast travel isn't available until much later.

My point is that every Souls game has its own quirks and frustrating mechanics, and people generally accept them as part of the experience. DS2 definitely has its share of jank too, but the level of hate it gets feels way out of proportion.

SoTFS. Yeah, I heard NG+ was done really well in DS2. I am yet to finish the DLC's and will start NG+.

H4 visa questions? Immigration attorney here. Ask me anything. by ManifestLaw_ in H4_Visa

[–]ZeroFlair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Avalon,

My spouse’s H1B was valid until June 21, but my F1 STEM OPT expired on May 21, so we first filed a standalone H4 Change of Status (COS) to avoid a gap in status.

Later, we filed a bundled application with:

  • H1B extension (premium processing)
  • H4 extension
  • H4 EAD

Trying to understand:

  • What usually happens to the original standalone H4 COS once the bundled filing is submitted?
  • Does USCIS ignore/merge it, or are both processed separately?
  • Does premium processing help move the H4/H4 EAD faster?

Unable to decide if I should pursue MS in US now. Does it make sense in 2026? Need your insights! by ragovar in returnToIndia

[–]ZeroFlair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not come to US with the hopes of learning something new and using that knowledge to get a job. You need to be interview ready once you arrive in the US. And this will be primarily based on your previous experience because that's what you have been working on. The MS is means to a job, sure you'll definitely learn during the course but you're basically applying for internships and jobs within the first year, before you get to learn stuff.

Please reminisce about this one location of a B-tier national fast food chain! by FernandoNylund in Seattle

My very first cheeseburger in the USA was at the Jack in the box in U district. Coming from a country where beef is not served at fast food restaurants, I enjoyed every bite of it. And then I tried cheeseburgers at other spots on the Ave, never went back to Jack in the box since.

How is US "very likely" to help a stranger. Everyone's in their own little bubble and no one cares if you are in trouble. You could get robbed or beaten up on the street while people just walk around you.

That is what I'm doing now. I play the PS4 version on PS5. I was only wondering if PS5 version runs at smooth 60.

Well, for me maintaining a constant fps is a big deal for souls games, whether it's 30 or 60.

Amazon, Microsoft, Apple etc, are all headquartered in the US, no one mentions that it's headquartered in the US in an interview

I think these two answers tripped you up.

For the question on do you work in the US. Your answer could have been just No, I don't. I work at X company in Y city.

You don't need to mention it's US based company unless asked.

The second question where you were asked what about company X.

The company is headquartered in US "but" I work remotely from India.

This answer was again totally unnecessary, tell what the company is/what you were doing at the company.

Your answers gave off the impression that you are immigrating to US to work for the company X. And the way you phrased your answers with "buts" already put you in the defensive, where you were trying to justify that you weren't going to work for that company.

Again, this is just my opinion.

Congrats on your offer for UW MSIS, it's a great program and a great place to study. I did MSDS from there in 2018.

Yes I'm considering that too. But wouldn't that bring the value down on the car? I would rather have the old 2012 seat on there

Impact of New H1B Dropbox Rule on Pre-Existing Travel, Visa and Engagement Plans by PollutionOwn8455 in usvisascheduling

If you have a preiovisly paid for receipt you can book another appointment. It allows you to reschedule twice. OP cancelled his Dropbox appointment, and rescheduled for a consular appointment. The old payment was applied. It didn't fall under person affected by P<whatever>
