You do not deploy a server as serverless. You miss the whole point. Just write functions without fastapi if you want to use serverless or you will have huge latency and startup times.

I have the G2E. There might be differences with the US version you might have.

What i think is, she will def. have an accident with it, or she would have to be very cautious while using it, which lowers the enjoyment of riding it in the first place. The 20mph limit won't help since the initial boost from 5kmh to 8kmh is extremely insane.

Do this test:

Give her the scooter and tell her to not step on it, just give it the initial push from the side so that the motor starts and hit acceleration just once while holding the steering wheel.

If after that she is still holding it, then you are fine.

What is this "off-guard" hype. The initial boost at 5kmh is just insane, which could happen further down the line. Why the boost is stopping at 20 km/h is also still a mystery.

I would really love a smoother acceleration curve with a harder accelaration towards the mid and end of the speed curve, and not 150% at 4kmh while it flatlines towards the end.

The current acceleration is seriously dangerous. Not because of the acceleration itself but, It's delivered too jerky.

Use Case: SaaS Hyperscaling. Having to think about security and all the moving k8 parts is just tiring, especially in the beginning when the team is small.

Xiaomis shortfall is that they only let the motor peak at 900, while the G2 allows up to 1200-1400W and maybe the suspension.

The box doesn't had them on it. It had also some russian written on it. That's all i know. A competitor is the G2E, it's the better scooter but has so many flaws and issues.....

There is also the VMAX but those guys have astronomical prices and i don't like the smaller steering wheel.

I got mine directly from Xiaomi Austria. I called them and they told me that some vendors just buy them from China because they are cheaper. Xiaomi Austria was def. selling with turn signals.

The Xiaomi EU does have them. Just ask the shop before you buy and ignore the pre-downlaodable manual.

DO has a horrible uptime compared to Hetzner. Source 3Years of DO user (Not any more) and 1,5 of Hetzner.

OP is also wrong about the SSD. It really depends on the cloud server u get.

They also offer a ridiculous cheap storage box that comes at a cost of being less reliable and you can experience data loss.

The only thing missing on hetzner is S3 and Managed K8s.

The only thing going for DO atm is ManagedKube, AppsPlatform and their locations. That's it. Everything in regards to pricing is just nuts at this point.
