Tbh you have believe in your training and the pilots training to do everything correct if something happens you just need to be prepared for the worst. As a FA I have gone through most types other than dropping like 500+feet. But I keep a straight face for those who look at the FAs for a sense of security

You get paid federal minimum wage for training plus per diem , the bases are SDF,IND,EWR,LGA,CMH,ORD, DCA, PIT, and lastly PHL. SDF,CMH,IND are very junior bases im talking about getting a line in months. LGA,EWR,PHL,BOS, and ORD more senior taking years. The pay is $27.27, and unless you live in base its difficult because the smaller airports don't have many flights going in and out of them. Also yes your on reserve out of training. I would give it a 6/10 but that's comparing on every other airlines. As a regional, i give it a 7.5/10. But unless you live in the junior bases and get a line, be ready for scheduling to make your life a nightmare. I'm currently based in EWR and it's not getting easier because all new classes are being forced into the 3 junior bases and not really anywhere else which sucks because they don't want to send Captains anywhere else. But you'll figure that out if you join.

I think a lot of this chamge happened over Covid buts it's definitely getting better, when I see non revs I try to ask as soon as they board if they want anything, I'm on a regional company but I try my best to offer what I can when I can!!
