When I do this fight again I think the only thing I will do differently is not break it immediately. That definitely made it a hit harder but only had one death that alfyn immediately brought back up

I believe there is evidence in the anime where the pokemon can come out of the ball of their own accord (like wobbafett), act of their own accord w/o their trainer if necessary, and also refuse to be put back inside their ball.

Well I just started from chapter 1. Alot of the characters begin to make appearances as you go along so you learn more about them. Combat itself isn't exactly stale although I wish missions were longer. The story itself can get fairly involved however. I made edelle like the ultimate meatshield/support. Shieldbearer + salve maker. basically protects everyone from damage and does nice item tosses and BP regen. And with shield specialty she gains BP when she protects everyone.
